It's not only the men and women giving everything. The family gives up so much too. People don't stop and think about the family. They don't see their love ones months or a year at a time. But if that love one is killed. Some people never gets over it. Sometimes there isn't a enough pieces to bury. They have a closed casket. I have been to two closed caskets. There's no closer. You don't see your love one and it makes you feel like they aren't there. Holidays aren't the same. So we call our men and women heroes. They earn that. So do the families. When I was trucking, I went to Whiteman AFB, B-2's, parked everywhere! I had to do two deliveries, for they could not take an entire delivery, The had to have the frozen food, but unable to store it there! A week later I go back, no airplanes, our war had begun, those airplanes were able to fly all the way from the US, do their mission and, be undetected, amazing!

So proud to be an Air Force Veteran! So thankful that I'm an American.....Home of the free and Land of the Brave.

I would be interesting to make a similar video that talks about the future weapon systems that are either soon to become operational, are in the later stages of development or are concepts that have been accepted to be developed and procured by Pentagon. From the plethora of new hypersonic missiles that are being developed by the USAF, Navy and the Army to next gen Abrams tank replacement, to Paladin upgrade to new air to air missiles to next gen strategic bomber - B-21 Raider, to 6th generation fighter jet for navy and Air force to nuclear tipped ICBM replacement to next generation of destroyers and attack submarines to COlumbia boomers, etc.. There are dozens, if not hundreds of weapon systems that will become operational within a next decade by the US military that will completely change the way we and our allies fight wars. This is particularly important today in 2023 when the danger of a great power conflict becomes potentially possible. From the mad man Putin and the Russian invasion of Ukraine that can spill over across the NATO borders to the looming thereat of the Chinese invasion of Taiwan that would plunge the world into the abyss... We, as well as our allies, have to go back to the Cold War era level of defense spending cause not being ready and superior to your enemy when the shooting starts cost much more that increased level of peace time military spending.

Yes, we have many flaws which we as a country are constantly trying to improve on, but we are one bad son-of- a-bitch. If we need to, we can kick ass and take names at the direction of the President. But the US is turning a corner on what policies the public wants the government to pursue. We are no longer following a "colonization" approach which we did in our early years. We are no longer trying to "Americanize" the world. Originally, the US Navy only started patrolling international waters to ensure free trade between nations. We were being blockaded by Britian and piracy was rife. Somehow after that the US Navy started being looked on as a "keeper of world peace." So in a way we were thrust into that position which was vacant. Now, the US is pursuing a leadership role in the future of the world in general. We have global problems, like pollution of the oceans, hunger and how we intend to continue space exploration as a planet. These problems must be solved for our children and grandchildren's sake. When you put on "Stars and Stripes Forever" by the US Marine Band and feel a lump in your throat when you see our flag waving proudly you're an American, despite the flaws.

Correction the MOAB is the largest non nuclear bomb in the US arsenal . It's so large the only way we currently deploy it is to yeet it out of a C-130. Oh and we also have a new missile delivery system called the flying dragon that is also yeeted out of a cargo jet but instead of a the largest non nuclear bomb. This system drops cruise missiles . Why show the cockpit of a B-52 when talking about the B-2? The F-15 C, NOT the D, was strictly air superiority. The F-15 D and E are both Strike Eagles, and they definitely are no slouch in a dogfight. However, they were designed with both Strike and Air Superiority in mind whereas the C was in general terms mainly meant to be strictly air to air. The thrust vectoring on the F-22 has absolutely NOTHING to do with how fast it goes. The speed of the F-22 is a direct result of the insanely powerful engines and its ability to supercruise (fly supersonic at military thrust without lighting the afterburners). Yet, it still has afterburners with a healing reserve of extra speed when needed. May fighters can do the maneuvers that the F-22 does, especially in Russia. The Marine Corps is pronounced MUH-REEN KOOR, NOT MUH-REEN KORPS!!! Our armed forces are NOT in place to "protect our money" as you so liberally vomited.
