I like all the things you made but one thing I have seen that I will make for sure. The thin transparent envelopes. I live in the Netherlands and I am a crafter since i was a child and becomes 79 years next month and in olden days we had photoalbums and between each page there was that thin transparent layer to protect the photos. A few weeks ago I was in a second hand shop and saw two new albums in celofane , one with white pages and the other one with black and had to pay 3 euro for both !!!!! The pages I will use for my cards and now I know what to do with the thin layers. Yehhhhhh, making envelopes. I wish you lots of succes with your channel 👍❤❤
Hello [new] friend, I'm so glad you're here and absolutely in love with the fact you've crafted since you were a child! I've always loved anything creative and have loved watching my daughter embrace creativity as well. It truly is a gift, isn't it? I know exactly which albums you're referring too (much of my childhood picture are held in that style of photo book) and had been looking for one myself! No luck here in Chicago but I'll keep my eyes open. I want to use them to store my DIY captions so I don't have to shuffle through them to find "the perfect one". Thank you for watching and for your kind words- I appreciate you.
I LOVE them all!! I have always had a hard time getting rid of ANY scrap paper! Now i know why! They were waiting for THIS video!! Thank you so much!!🥰🙏❤️
Thanks for all the scrap ideas. I needed an idea for a card to add in a small bag of valentine treats for two neighbor kids. I decided to do a miniature red drop down envelope with a kid joke written on the inside, and decorate the flap with hearts & words. Simple enough to enclose in a glycene bag with a treat. Thanks 😍 ♥️🎁
Love this. I’m going to make those girl cards. And envelopes to mail to my granddaughter who lives out of state. I plan to write lyrics of the songs that I sing to her when she visits. Hello from Michigan.
Apologies for the late reply, friend. I'm just now getting back to RU-vid land after summer with the kiddos and the family. I'm so happy to hear it! What is it about a library pocket that's so pleasing to the eye! I hope you were able to make some cute ones for your projects! Thanks so much for watching!
I’m so glad to hear/ read that! The cards are my favorite too! I just made another huge batch this week- lol! I hope you’ve found time to make some as well!
I found Sandy (Septeria18) about a month ago and binge watched a ton of her videos, then got busy with making scraps out of papers I’ve been hoarding (some is at least 12 years old!) so that I could make cute embellishments. Last night your channel found its way into my recommended playlist and WOW! I’ve picked up a few more crafty scrap ideas! Thank you for sharing😊
OMGosh! I love Sandy's channel so much- she's such a brilliant creator and teacher. I'm so glad my channel found its way into your feed- thank you for being here!
Hi, friend! Apologies for the super late reply- just now making it "back to YT land" after summer with the kids/ family. OMGosh! Do you share your crafts anywhere on SM? I'd love to see what you made! Thank you for being here!
I have been in love with paper since I can remember. There`s almost nothing one can`t create with paper. Your postcards are adorable, just like everything else you created. Thank you very much for the inspiration. Sending love from Slovenia❤
YES!!! Me too! So much so that a couple of weeks ago I even wrote a "poem" about paper! Who does that?! Apparently me. Thankfully I'm in very good company with you.
That has to be the best compliment 🙀! Why do we never appreciate our voices? This really helps my imposter syndrome- thank you friend 🥰 happy creating and thanks for watching ❤️
So happy to have found you young lady. This little video is overflowing with great ideas for scraps I was trying to organize myself today and I have a ton of scraps to work with!! Blessings to you from Ohio.
Hi, friend! Apologies for the super late reply- just now making it "back to YT land" after summer with the kids/ family. I'm happy you enjoyed it! There's something so satisfying about dangly features, right? Thanks for watching!
These are really creative ideas! I am SUPER impressed with what you have created with the tinest pieces of scraps. WOW! I have always thrown away my scraps that were what I had considered too small. You have truly shown me how very wasteful I have been all these years. Thanks for sharing all of these great ideas! BTW....the paper bead charms would make fantastic Glue Pin Topper/Plug if attached to a stainless steel eye pin. Just a thought.
I searched for using scraps and your channel was suggested. I’m glad that I was able to find these great ideas. I usually get frustrated with making my own embellies but I have so many scraps! Looking at your ideas, I think….I have some scraps that I can use to try something like that. Thank you for sharing!
YES!! I'm so glad you found this video as well!! It can definitely feel frustrating to make embellishments which is why I try to approach it as a form of play vs with an end result in mind. You've given me an idea for a video! Thanks for watching!!
Great projects and ideas! I am excited to be trying some of these ideas on my next days off. Your journaling cards are amazing. The thing that actually drew me to watch your video was the thumbnail of them. I am glad I came to watch. Thanks for a wonderful video.
I’m so glad you’re here, friend! Thank you for your insight on what drew you to this video. I hope you found time to create a bunch of journaling cards! I’m still in love with them- to the point that I have too many and need to start de-stashing them somehow- lol! New ones coming to the channel soon- stay tuned.
I found one of your scrap videos a few days ago and loved that they were all new ideas with scraps! Love Natasha and Septeria too. Love these ideas as well. Thank you!
The glassine bags are awesome!! Love them and am inspired to try them now. My favorite thing is to make clusters, and that is the perfect base for the clusters. It will also get me out of my "vintage" comfort zone, because I love the contemporary look to the bags. Thank you for sharing!!
I just found your site and enjoyed this scrap vid allot! I am primarily a card maker but I can adapt many of these in my card making. You’re very creative. I love your paper choices. Thanks
Hi [new] friend! Apologies for the delay in responding- I'm so glad you're here! I also find lots of inspiration from card makers so I know exactly what you mean 🤗 Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching ❤️
Just found you today after 12-14 years of watching paper crafting tutorials! Loved the Polaroid journal spot idea. Gave me a great idea of adapting it to fit the grandchildren’s activities this summer. I already planned to make a portfolio from recycled cracker boxes and include several pages of waterfall cascading photos. Now I will reserve space for the Polaroid journaling spots and change up the doodle-it doesn’t need to be the play/stop/record symbols-to record their favorites of the summer. For example, each year seems to have new favorites for table and yard games, ice cream flavors, and team sports colors, not just their favorite songs! But the Lego box cover from birthday presents, cover of the album tour of their first concert attended and the team designs of the first professional basketball game attended (a few months ago) would make great images in the waterfall.
Actually I liked everything you did! Especially your paper bead charms. I haven’t made paper beads in ages. I’m watching more of your videos while healing from total knee replacement, and I feel inspired to make paper beads now! Oh, using the scrap solid colors for a multicolored necklace is a lovely idea!
The algorithm is funny like that- I’m always amazed when I come across an account that has been posting for years and yet they’re new to me 🤣🤣 I’m glad my content made my way to you eventually. I hope you’re able to make a few things at some point in your recovery. Meanwhile, jot down some ideas for when you’re ready! That’s what I do when o can’t create... lists and lists of ideas waiting to be made.
Such a fantastic tutorial! Thanks for sharing. I love when all these beauties can be applied to any theme, love, hobby, music, etc! Hello and so long to scraps!❤😊❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed it- thank *you* for watching ☺️. I’m never sure if I’m more satisfied with scraps projects or the ones they come from but I’m certain that it makes me feel a lot better about wasting less!
there are some really great ideas here. I'm excited to try so many of them! I also love seeing a video with all of the fresh and fun papers instead of all vintage - I love both!
I’m glad you like them! I get lots of inspiration from vintage style paper crafters but I’m more of an eclectic gal 🤷🏽♀️. It’s probably why it’s taken me so long to junk journal; I had to make it work for my style. Happy creating, friend!
This video has been on my list since you posted it last year. I'm finally getting around to watch it since I bought a house. I love these ideas and subscribed since you've inspired me to tackle my Mount Paper Scraps! Hugs from Villa Rica, GA. ☀🌴🏖
Great ideas !! I loved the Polaroid cards and the index cards especially which could be turned into prayer cards. Your paper choices for the embellishments are wonderful and very cohesive. I have lots of girly stamps from half dozen designers so I will use those for these crafty ideas
Hi [new] friend! Apologies for the delayed reply and thank you so much for your kind words ☺️ prayer cards are a genius idea! I may have to adopt that one- I hope you make a bunch of gorgeous ones filled with blessings. Thank you for being here!
Ha, ha, ha!! Well, that's a good problem to have in my book, friend! I'm very glad you enjoyed it and I hope you find time to make some fun things. Thanks for being here!
I love all your creations! I think the glassine bags are not too busy, just very cute, and a neat idea! Love, love, love the dangles!! They are so cute!! I do love the cards for postcards. I think you can buy backings for those, just peel and stick, to make it like a postcard looks. I know I purchased some but Lord help me, I don't know where they are at the moment!! Your video just came up in my feed, and I'm a new subbie!!
Hi, new friend! I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’m definitely buying a box of basic cards soon for this very purpose. I hope you find yours 😂😂😂 Thanks for watching and subscribing!
😍😍😍So many great ideas!!! New subscriber! Oh! Extra is GOOD! That’s what scrap journaling is! Oh my goodness! 😍 I. LOVE. YOUR. IDEAS!Creepy twins.🤣 I can’t choose ‘a’ favorite. I like so many if them. I can’t wait to try them this afternoon!
I just found your channel and must say I love everything you’ve shown here!❤😊 I now have enough ideas to keep me busy with my scraps before they get out of hand.😂
What a beautiful collection of goodness! Enjoyed your video, presentation, and the clarity of your voice. I was captive for the entire video! Thank-you for sharing! Subscribed!

Oh my! I am so glad to have just found you! You are an amazing crafter. I loved all your projects. There is no way I could pick a favorite, they are all awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Yaaaaaas, friend! I can't imagine I will ever tire of making polaroids so I just know it was a fun time making 30 of them! Thank you for watching and apologies for the late reply 🫶🏽
I got so much inspiration from your creations! I really can't say which is my favorite because they all are so pretty and done beautifully. Thank you for sharing your ideas! Fantastic!🎉 🎉
Love your ideas especially the layered index cards at the end. The layered squares are pretty cute too. I prefer to make my own embellishments for my scrapbook pages but sometimes it's hard to come up with something that has the look that i want to create with my scraps (which I have far too many of) Thanks for the inspiration and sharing your craftiness. Hi from New Zealand. 🙂🌻
Hi, friend! Apologies for the super late reply- just now making it "back to YT land" after summer with the kids/ family. I'm very glad to hear it, friend! Do you share your scrapbooking pages on SM? I'd love to see them. I tried scrapbooking years ago but for some reason it didn't stick for me, not sure why. I'd think your pages are even more special because you make your own embellishments. Let's face it, we all have loads of scraps which is why we watch these videos- haha! Hello right back atcha from, Chicago! Thank you for watching!
These are awesome ideas! I can't wait to check out the rest of your videos to learn how to make different things with all my scraps and my paper hoard! Lol ❤😅
Scraps hoarders unite!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed this video, friend ☺️ and I hope that you managed to put all of your scraps to work in wonderful ways. Thank you for watching!
I love your projects. And you don’t need to remind us that you didn’t reinvent the wheel.😁 You deserve to brag and show us your art. Then we will recreate it.😂 I am envious of your cute charms. I bought a bunch of chain, beads, clasps, etc., but haven’t used any yet. And seeing yours have me wanting to get mine out now.
I like the torn edges. I think they would also be neat with layers of security envelopes that just keep growing in a pile, but I haven't used nearly enough! I don’t have images of people, but I do collect pet images, and have stamps for some. I also like landscape images from travel magazines. But, I definitely want to put some torn edges, and/or cut some with my deckle scissors. I also like the idea of the index cards for ournaling. I've made a few albums, and still need pocket fillers.(😊 these are perfect ideas.) One album is for Fall, one is Gratefulness, and one is for photos of a family vacation on Route 66. Also.go9dmideas for an album I started of.all our pets and grandpets I started after losing our longest living family dog, a barest hound who was almost 16, when we lost her in March. We have another pooch to add to the list, though. We firmly believe she sent us a sweet basset puppy last month.💕 So many of your, Sandy's and Natasa's ideas will help build on my albums. Tfs.
I love the idea of using layered security envelopes- their distinct patters add so much interest! All of your albums sound wonderful and each has so much value for memory keeping. Sending you lots of love and my condolences regarding the loss of your fur babies. We've also lost our two doggos, 10 and 3 years ago. Dogs are so special as they infinitely love us and gift us lifelong loyalty. Enjoy your new puppy! Thank you for watching/ being here, friend!
Hi, Teri!! Greetings from Chicago ☺️ I'm so glad you're here and that you will be creating the index cards- I for one STILL can't get enough of them and just might be making them forever 😆 Thank you for watching!
Thank you, friend! Don't be! The worst that could happen is you don't enjoy the end result or the process, in which case you will know where to go from there. The best that could happen is that you surprise yourself. Pick things you love and give yourself permission to play! Thank you for being here, friend!
Just found you channel absolutely love it I've just subscribed love everything in video loved to know how you make your dangles, I'm off to binge watch your tutorials tfs❤
Oh my goodness, friend! A few of your peeps have surely shown love and I'm beyond grateful to you and your kindness! Your live streams are so soothing (and hilarious) and I love the chemistry and banter between you and your co-pilot. I hope to catch you in real time soon! Thanks again 🙏🏾
OMG! I watch Sandi all the time. I also enjoy Natasha’s channel! I am a new subbie! Great inspiration! Do you happen to remember what paper pad has the zebras and cheetahs? I love the colors! Nice to meet you. Hugs, Janice
