I play minecraft for 4 yrs and Mumbo helped me so much to learn all the redstone contraptions. He is basically the one that taught me how to do all kind of redstone builds.

Back in the early days of minecraft pocket edition, I got the game on my tablet, and started exploring. After all the redstone components were there, I experimented with it alot. That way i managed to get a working 4x4 piston door in a relatively small space. So if you’re in for something new, or just bored, get yourself a creative world and start building! The more you play, the more you learn.

Would it be fair to say that if you understand Redstone, copying contraptions becomes much easier because you know why each part is there and can kind of "see what the original person" was doing when they made the contraption? IDK how this makes sense but hopefully you understand what i mean

Flying machines were so important to me in my sky block! Finding sneaky little uses for red stone (and shoving it into your friends’ faces when they’re amazed) is one of my favourite things about it : )

I do bedrock edition Redstone, pushing chests and furnaces, no need to alternate trapped chests, no quasiconnectivity glitch, it's all great. I do wish pistons were a little faster, but the slower speed can be used to make a two-tick pulse extender out of observers. We both have our little tricks, and don't understand each other's methods, but respect each other as creators.

Redstone isnt boring, its hard on pe. We can’t do some circuits that you CAN do on pc. So it’s harder on pe than on pc....

As someone who plays bedrock: Redstone is a process of taking an idea, building it, discovering what weird quirk keeps it from working, making a workaround, figuring out what quirk keeps _that_ from working, and so on, untill you actually get it to work.

Mumbo, build an underground system of pistons and slimeblocks and packed ice that can move you a few hundred blocks in a few seconds and throw you back out of the ground. (Just for fun, if you feel like it, make an exit/entrance out of a manhole cover or a toilet or something else ridiculous) =]

As a redstoner on bedrock, I have to say it is a bit challenging, but we can still do most of the machines like flying machines, piston feed tapes, super smelters, and 3x3 spiral piston doors (which is about the limit of my Redstone talent)

I started in the bedrock edition of minecraft so I have a redstone testing world in it. But when I got the java edition, I was able to make the contraptions so much more compact and faster, I couldn't believe it.

i have a really good idea for a Redstone/Command Block build, which involves a lot of the copy/paste command and an RNG redstone circuit maybe i'll build it some day, but for now... i still have very little idea of how to do it. basically, imagine you have a small room. on all four walls, it's a flat surface with a button in the center. you press the button, and that wall is replaced by a hall, room, library, whatever. you keep this up and continue going through the rooms until you finally find the exit or something. sounds cool, right? that's where you'd have the RNG circuit. you press the wall button and it powers the circuit, and the output goes to a number of different command blocks. each C-block simply copies a small room from a list of options and pastes it at the end of the room where you place the button. i have no idea what the end result could be or what the point of this minigame could even be, but it was inspired by the episode of Doctor Who, "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS". you could even have certain rooms only branch from the original few. it's like a simple tree. you have chance 1-6, and that's the basic room. you then have 6 rooms for each of the base rooms, and so on and so forth until you need to loop back to the first one. if someone else builds it before i do, i wouldn't even be mad.

I play in bedrock edition and the only things that are different are: no pistons spitting out blocks, no snapshots, no quasi connectivity, and u can push block with a gui so I take loads of inspiration from ur videos anyway

hey mumbo i have a few redstone ideas 1 a changing invisible maze (use fences for the nonchanging walls and fencegates to switchs open where they can go trough and close where they cant walk trough) 2 some kind of tower defence game against zombies with commandblocks for most off the functions (or some orther massife minigame that needs redstone and commands combined in it) 3 an insane mobfarm (with 1 spawner for every mob that has a spawn egg and maybe put mob sorters in but if this is to hard u can try with 1 easy only all animal mobs only or 2 normal with all hostile mobs only or 3 hard all animal and all hostile mobs that got spawneggs)

I feel like we need a very simple tutorial on compacting, it takes experience and experimenting but it would be cool to have help and be guided on how and why certain things and certain things don't, this in-between intermediate level is what I find hardest

I build Redstone contraptions that you make in the bedrock edition. Some things that you do in the Java edition don't work in bedrock so I have to either add something to what you have already made or make a totally different version of it and even then half the time it doesn't work. It's very difficult, but in the end it (usually) works out fine.

Those of us that play on the Bedrock Edition just can’t quite get redstone in the Java Edition. But your tutorials are their to help us out, so maybe you can watch tutorials to get a good understanding of Bedrock Edition redstone.

Have you already built a 12h clock? I haven't seen one of you. So if you haven't built one, could you try building one? But it would be to easy for you just building one, so here is a challenge: Build it within a space of 29x10x10 (with seconds display) I have built one within 29x10x10. Can you beat me? (by the by you can have the world) I don't know if there's a way to built it smaller. It would be great if you could build a smaller one.
