Hi where did you stay?

@@steffietee740 hi! I stayed at a hotel on Orchard Rd. Honestly though if I were to go again, I would stay in Marina Bay Sands area because most of the main attractions were close to that area

@@sanamtravels Thanks for your reply. May I ask the hotel you stayed on Orchard Rd, and how much are hotels on average in that area. I am also looking at Bugis area for hotels.

Hi. Thank you so much for uploading this video. I'm taking my wife and daughter for a day trip to Singapore (from KL). I've picked out the essentials from what you've said. I know Singapore needs more than a day but for the time we have it is better than nothing, especially as the flights are so cheap. The halaal places are a revelation. My daughter can't wait. We are travelling from the UK and going to Umrah also from KL.

I was at ION Orchard on the first day of Lunar New Year and saw that coffee place for the first time. There was a queue and I wondered hmm what am I missing..
@SuccessforLifester
@SuccessforLifester Год назад
Because very very few people would go to a mall during lunar new year. Hence it was a surprise to me. I noted most of the customers were tourists though

Great comments and video of Singapore. You mentioned many places accepting apple pay or just the apple wallet so we won't need much cash conversion from USD to Singapore dollars. But is that the case on the satay street foods in the Hawker center? Will they accept Apple Pay? Thank you again for your wonderful video.
@sanamtravels
@sanamtravels Год назад
Hi! Most of the vendors on Satay Street accepted cash only so if you go to the Hawker Centers, make sure to have some cash on you

Maybe not all but definitely a big chunk. Singapore isn’t too big so it’s fairly easy to get around and a lot of the things are close to each other!

Haji Lane, it’s basically related to the Muslim religious event named after the 'Hajj' - which is the pilgrimage undertaken by Muslims to Mecca and Medina, and the stretch of Bussorah Street nearer to Sultan Mosque were residences and also centres for pilgrimage services, serving Muslim pilgrims from around the region.
@sanamtravels
@sanamtravels Год назад
Yes I am familiar with hajj also but I guess I was confused as to why hajji lane had a lot of bars - it just seemed odd to have a street named after hajj covered in bars
@mansoorsharif1419
@mansoorsharif1419 Год назад
@@sanamtravels You are absolutely right Sister that Haji lane is strange in name but covered with many bars places. I'm just kidding maybe they represent modern Muslim cultures related to Dubai and Jeddah these days 🤭🤫🙂

I went during the morning when everything was closed so can’t speak much to it, but Singapore overall is generally very safe

Yes it is safe. I cut through it at night all the time. Everywhere is safe in Singapore. Some parts are more sleazy and exotic but you would be safe. It would be an abnormality when crime happens
