I've been doing doordash for over 5 years, and i loved it for a while, but they changed to many things. I recently just signed up for lyft and Uber, but im just nervous to start.

I love the magnetic phone mounts. Word to the wise, make sure the metal plate on your phone is far way from the sim card. Had to replace a less than 3 month old phone because the magnet erased the sim card.
REMEMBER: you only get a percentage of your right-offs depending on work miles vs personal. For example: If you drive 18k miles for the year and 9k are rideshare miles, then you only get 50% of your write-offs. Standard mileage deduction is almost always higher.
basic common sense communication skills and you do well. Be real with people. let them tell you what they want to talk about and let them talk. Dont talk about yourself just enough to get them to open up to you basc sales skill.
Hello, this is a great video, but I wanted to know where do you get this "rideshare" insurance rider for $9 week? Progressive is the closest I've gotten so far, it's no where near $9/week.
Same here- Progressive went up from $50 to $75 additional a month to add rideshare insurance and I’m concerned about the policy with regards to deductibles if it’s covered by Uber or Lyft. It looks like Progressive is protecting themselves unless it’s my own accident which does that then make me susceptible to $1000 deductible with Lyft?
I do not like driving for LYFT. LYFT advertises $8 bonus every ride everywhere. When you stop driving and notice your bonus has not been added. You contact LYFT to inquire about your bonus payment they act as though they cannot see the bonus on your account. They say you are outside the zone and bonus hour. No one would accept low balling rides with no bonus. I have been driving for over 6 hours and I haven't even made $100! This is poverty and I will be letting other drivers know about this!
The number one tip for rideshare drivers number one if you’re not a rideshare driver, don’t ever start being a rideshare driver number two if you are a rideshare driver immediately quit that’s the best advice I can give you have a nice day !!!!!! you’re not even making minimum wage then I hear it’s worse than ever the percentage that Uber and Lyft is taking from you guys my friend is a Lyft driver he said a year ago he can make $200 in eight hours now it takes him 12 hours to make $200 and there’s no bonuses so if you divide 12 into $200 equals 16$ a hour then you subtract how much you spend on gas would you say $30 and I’m being generous there now divide 12 into $170 equals 14 a hour what about to wear and tear on your car? I can’t figure that one out but it’s got to be there so the bottom line is you guys are getting scammed but I see a Uber and Lyft drivers everywhere. Am I missing something if I am please help me correct me or tell me to get the hell out of here if I’m wrong!!😅😅😅😅😅😅
People always have something so negative to say . Smh . Just cause it’s not working out for you doesn’t mean that goes for everyone. I make about 230 in 6 hours ( sometimes more if I work 8 hours ) five days a week . It’s about hard work and dedication. It’s money out here , you gotta have the DRIVE to go get it .
Here's my tip. If you're going to do rideshare, only do it part time. The vast majority of drivers are making less than minimum wage after expenses and depreciation are factored it. If you insist on doing this full time, then understand that you're going to be living your life around driving if you really want to maximize your income. It's very much a "work when there's work" type of job. Because of that, it's not something I recommend for people with families, or just a lot of other commitments in general.
I do not believe you that you make $230 in six hours. The only way that’s possible to see if you get some good tips but you’re not gonna make that money from Lyft I do not believe you !!
Lyft was unpleasant I worked with my 8year old daughter and had riders detroy my carpet window tint curse fight smoke and my account was deactivated just because I worked as a single mother with my daughter having no help nor support and that broke us down and left of struggling and homeless 🧐🧐🧐🧐Lyft only support the riders bad behavior and did not treat me like I was part of the Lyft company

I’ll meet you anywhere and I’ll follow you around for three hours and I’ll bet you $500 you cannot make $200 in three hours driving from Uber or driving for Lyft not possible unless you get a good tip, so take out the tip you’re dreaming. @@TheRideshareHub Ford Focus, what insurance company do you use and does it cover all three scenarios? I have progressive and they cover me for phase 1. Uber and Lyft are supposed to cover you for wating and giving a ride correct? Thank you.
So I'm confused by this comment because I've literally asked several passages with their paying and majority of the time when they tell me I'm getting at least 50% if not more. There have been a few times what I've gotten a little less than 50% but very rarely
I do not believe you the only way you made that kind of money is you got a good tip. Other than that I do not believe you you cannot make that kind of money on what they pay per mile
I have a tip that will save you a lot of money and save your car,and that is stop driving for this loser job as these company’s are taking advantage of you as you basically work for free with the illusion of making money. Got get a real job. If you think you are making money, here’s a test, can you pay cash to replace the car that you are killing, for most drivers I seriously doubt it. Do the math and be honest about it, and you will be shocked how badly these companies are taking advantage of you.Driverless cars are going to replace you, that’s coming.
