Actually had a similar similar situation today where we were getting stomped and I decided to just follow a teammate and we actually turned the game around and won! It's so satisfying when you do things right by accident!
Always help the guy who's locked in...walk in front of him qhen he reloads...don't throw grenades around him...watch his back...and when you're locked in you will have this guy shadowing you
Yo you should keep Mila locked in the trunk because I like this guy much better! I feel like he's a real Halo player and not just wishing he was playing Valorant in this video! I actually feel he's such an authentic Halo player that I'm about to watch this video back to back (just had to post this comment before I watch the second time) to make sure I remember some particular tips he mentioned. He's also a much smoother talker, just as funny and has a more soothing voice.
that is very kind of you to say! Ill be posting a lot more stuff around halo on my channel and I'm glad you feel like I'm a real halo player. I've got a lot of love for it and i want to see thrive.
Well I finally did it!!!!!! solo queuing in the mouse / keyboard playlist, took a lot of time especially against some of the bugs and crashes, but you can get there guys! I'm also diamond 6 in the open playlist on mouse, and afterwards i'm gonna try switching to controller for the other solo playlist. Good luck everyone!
I started following someone early on. No one wants to work as a team so I just forced it. It does suck though when you bail someone out of a jam several times, but then when the enemy gets the drop on you your new best friend just keeps on running cuz he didn’t even know you were back there in the first place. He probably thought he was just getting all those kills solo. 😭
I would not recommend warming up with 343 bots for comp unless they are spartan level difficulty. Easy bots can make you soft. Heck even quickplay can be competitive enough to practice movement techs and pistol aiming. On the topic of movement tech. Learning secret shortcuts can easily climb you a rank. It can help you get to objectives quicker, flank and juke enemies. And you don't even need equipment. Crouch jumping, curb sliding are all very easy to learn but can save you 1 to even 3 seconds of time.
When playing stronghold does it matter if your whole team is standing on a point when retaking it? Or is having one person capturing the same as having more than one person retaking it? Edit: Also, does anybody have suggestions on most efficient way to team up with a previously random and not-friended teammate? There's been a few times I've verbally tried to link up with a team mate for another game but failed miserably at it, never to see them again! Like I don't even understand my recent players list because they didn't even show up on there? Any suggestions on how to do this best? Or do they make this impossible for privacy concerns and to discourage stalkers or something...
Games a mess. Between desync and shots not registering, I can’t stand to play for over an hour. Not to mention ranked being full of wall hackers on PC and unfair match making. Game has potential to be great but needs a lot of work first.
I am new to halo. I was playing a quick play slayer, my team and I started to get our ass kicked by the opponent. 3 teammates abandoned and got replaced by 3 bots. No bots got a single kill. Lost the match 10-50...and I thought it was PVP! Is it common in halo? Or should I have abandoned also?
It’s because 1 Onyx player will queue up with buddies that are higher platinum or low diamond and end up in a match completely above everyone else’s skill lvl. Ranked modes always have a way around the system. Happens the same way in other games
Not gonna lie man I need somebody to carry me too bro. I’m good enough to win my 1v1 even in onyx lobbies. I keep going back n forth between d4 n d5. My accuracy is the main thing that probably is holding me back from onyx. Usually ranges between 45 to 50. I need a consistent 55 accuracy. Also I run a lot with randoms sometimes they don’t play objectives or will have mics and won’t say anything until the game is in jeopardy. One last thing I hate when ppl try to triple cap on strong hold then switch the spawns. How comebacks happen and we lose when up by 100 pts
Hey man! I feel you on the accuracy issue. Best way to improve immediately is not use your right stick as much. Focus on moving with the target and letting aim assist help as much as possible. Lower your horizontal sens a bit to help you not overflick or adjust your deadzones for your look stick
@@rajaeepooler7393 It's true though. A good callout makes the game easy. I had a kid tell me to stop ego challing all game even though I heard one shot on my x just before. Turns out there was 3 enemies. Wasn't the first time either. Shitty half a** info can be bad.
Tip 17 is something I do whether I am doing good or bad but mostly when I am doing bad. I will take a half hour break and quick resume into something like RE8 or now Rainbow Six extraction.
Everything pretty much is the same as what people have tips for in Overwatch too. But the biggest issue is exactly what you said in the video about teams. People are selfish and usually have an ego and don’t want to help the team. So instead they get shredded then they tilt, then they tilt the team. It’s a toxic cycle unfortunately.
Hey Edward, I’m sure there’s been games where I’m guilty of it as well but I do a lot of vod breakdowns for players climbing and it’s something I see a lot of so I was referencing that more so than my matches
2:50 this is why they got rid of split screen... we would screen look and spin to shoot with even one or 2 hits at range being enough to spin a equal halo fight
You know you’re right haha. Usually I don’t go with a script but for GameLeap we try to make everything concise and improv talking and spazztic humor doesn’t work to well for that. It’ll be a lot more free flow in the future
