Well tell you the number one way people are ranking up Aimbot hackers no skill I come across one every single game and it's ridiculous and the higher rank you are the more in the game until 343 fix this problem it makes playing rank worthless because even if you'd somehow got lucky enough to get to the highest-ranked people are going to wonder if you were a hacker. So every day I cross my fingers and hope that through 343 will have a big ban wave coming and all these cheaters will be permanently banned from Halo infinite
I love trading damage with an enemy and when I see my teammate coming, taking cover and letting them get the free kill instead of risking losing/trading. Tag teaming makes you feel so big brain
@@gufaaahhh ^ can also re chall off your temmates contact to secure the kill and possibly get another. Keep the numbers in your favor and you'll win the engagements almost every time.

I love when I’ll be fighting with a teammate and they literally just turn and run away, then I’ll die because someone from there team will come and help them. It’s fucking mint.
Or they forget that team shooting is a thing you should do, so they ignore the guy in front your fighting and go off and find a different target cause they want a kill and not an assist.
I really appreciate you doing the extra effort of breaking it 100% down with the arrows, markers, ect. I’m constantly trying to improve my game and this helped
Im in onyx and the best tip is to have a mic, plain and simple if another team has comms, you notice they always are prepared to fight you then you NEED to CALLOUT!
Yeah, I always use a mic, but when I'm playing solo I'll often have no communication from my teammates. If you don't use a mic, you need to assign callout to a button that's easy to press. The default d-pad placement is too hard to use during a fight.
I don't understand how people can rank up in this when there's hackers in every game just saying how do you win against all team Aimbot hacker unless you're hacking yourself or have teammates who have hacks

These are great opportunities to learn to play smarter as you will see mistakes much more clearly. If you work together with your team and play for your life you can at least hold up against a larger team, and sometimes you can even catch them off guard and win.
People need to play for power weapons more often. Know your engagements, comms is key: if your team takes 2 or 3 people out, play very very aggressive depending on the objective.
people just need to play OBJ more. Ive played countless high diamond oddball games where people straight up ignore the ball even if they're going negative. its annoying af
@@Slushcams i agree, people get concerned too much with their kda but they forget how to play the ball. Also what i hate is when they all stack up in one place trying to defend the oddball carrier when spreading out and watching out for angles is a much better strat when it comes to defending the oddball.
@@HealthInspectorz the ranking system we have now is partly to blame for that. Sometimes you get more credit for doing well individually and losing the game, rather than sacrificing yourself over and over to win

It's too big of a gamble to sacrifice yourself for the win, because if you do and your team still loses, the rank punishment for playing OBJ but performing poorly in a loss is far greater than playing for kills and ignoring OBJ in a loss. And in all honesty, the rank reward for playing OBJ but performing poorly in a WIN is far LESS than playing for kills and ignoring OBJ in a win. So since the rank system punishes OBJ players and only seems to reward individual performance, you aren't going to see much push for the OBJ out of the players fighting for a better placing in the lobby.
Tips not mentioned that are instrumental to improving. Pay attention to your audio and visual cues: When your teammates shoot, They get a (!) icon on their name tag. When they're taking damage, they will let you know if their shields or the enemy shields are broken. The most important is stop rushing 100% in the match , you don't always have to sprint from point A to B. Pay attention to the sound of footsteps and gunshot directions, This alone will make you improve tremendously. No one ever talks about footsteps in these videos. also Fun tip: When you see an enemy running to grab grenades from a deploy station, shoot them with your BR/Sidekick, They will exploded giving you an easier kill.
What I love about this game is I haven’t ran any good Halo in over 10 years and I can just come back and be Elite level within a good 2 days. Just a modernized version of the original
Speaking to spawns, I've had where I killed one only for another spawn directly in front of me while I was reloading. I think it surprised him too, because I ended up winning that engagement too.
Just placed first time as a "decent" player in Gold. I can only agree that playing smart in Halo is more useful than having godlike reflexes. Funnily enough, when I fix my bad habit of rushing, my K/D improves a lot. That TTK makes it very taxing to maintain if you keep rushing. Appreciated the tips.

@@dandelyon2796 Started Silver He wont make it past Platinum. Game is dumb you can go 30-0 every game and never win cause your team is trash causing you to lose rank. It's suppose to be based of individual performance but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Your grenade tip reminded me of my own. I'm in platinum so take this with a grain of salt I suppose. Learn how to use each equipment. The repulsor can send projectiles, grenades, and even players backward. It can disorient, damage, and even knock players into pits. You'll get tons of practice with the grappleshot in campaign of course. Threat sensor can give lots of useful info to your team about enemy positioning. The thrustors can help you clear gaps normal jumping can't, and can make a crucial difference in a fight to make you harder to track. The drop wall is.... can block a few shots and is better than not having one, especially for grenades or rockets. Speaking of threat sensor, use the mark tool to inform your team of enemy positionings they should be aware of, and pay attention when your team does as well. Also mark power items when the enemy drops them (and you don't want to or can't get them). Mark good vehicles when they spawn if you need a teammate to effectively operate it (or don't want it yourself) though this won't help you in ranked since no vehicles...
Onyx here and you are right about the equipment. The drop wall is actually more important then you think. He can take an extra shot with it so it is 4 to the body and 1 to the head. At high ranks people don't miss so having an extra buffer shot helps a lot.
As far as spawning goes, my friends and I have played several matches where we killed the whole team, we're bunched in one spot, and they just keep pouring in nonstop. Like they're literally spawning on top of their team while they're in a firefight. It feels. Like it's 8 vs 4.
I really don‘t understand the spawns sometimes… a lot of i times my team and i feel like we spawn 1000 miles away from each other, but the enemies literally spawn right next to each other and also very close to us. We kill the whole team, in 2 seconds they are right next to us, like wtf ?? I don‘t believe the spawning system in the video tbh, i really don‘t, cause i experience a lot of shit spawning in that game….
One aspect of spawning that may lead to confusion is that spawns are game mode dependant. Mostly games will follow the rules applied to Slayer, but in CTF for instance, the spaws occurs always around your own flag.
I think you forgot two things players often play for kills instead of OBJ and sometimes your going to get poopy teammates that cant hit shots or dies way too much.
I cant dodge nades tbh. No matter what I do it ends up at my feet. I have a magnet on me I guess. Like seriously someone throws at me and which ever direction I decide to use to avoind it... it will bounce my way. I should start recording it and make a funny montage of it... :D
I took your advice on controlling equipment, grenades and power weapons and went from starting at Gold tier 2 to gold tier 4 in about an hour and a half. It's all about getting their shields down with grenade spamming (obnoxious but works) and then going in with those br headshots.
Two different ranked matches today; one had my teammate go 3 and 24 and 1 assist while running in straight lines at the entire enemy team. Other match they had similar stats but would be looking around at the walls and streets instead of helping. Have fun, but please stay out of ranked at that point if its just gonna throw the game
The most frustrating thing for me is when teammates ignore power weapons / power ups. Id rather lose 10 seconds of ball time or lose a stronghold if we can get control of rocks or camo/os. So many times i end up getting 1v2 or 1v3d because my teammates arent paying attention and just running around trying to slay
People need to learn how to hold a setup and to get cuts when running flags. It’s buts how often I am holding ball and see my team push out the map allowing the other team to spawn on me due to the splits while I try to rotate with the one team mate who stayed semi close to me. I also find that no one knows how to get cuts in ctf when people are running flag. When we clear the base and pull flag you have to know they are spawning towards mid map on one side or the other, no one expects it or reads the spawn and it’s nuts to me that people are so caught off guard by the spawn out

They have a SPOTLESS track record of failing upwards, and now that MS has acquired Activision it is only a matter of time before Phil Spencer holds a press conference to announce 343 as the new lead developer for Call of Duty.
Another good point is if tour teammate is better w a weapon then let them get it. See s many ppl wiff snipe shots wasting even having it in the first place
These are all very good tips. Unfortunately they won’t always work when you have cheaters in the game. Me and my team were shooting one person and that one person took out the whole team. There is no way they should have been able to do that. It’s very frustrating when ppl seem like they are on god mode and have auto aim on for them.

Anybody else tired of the social anxiety boys that refuse to speak in game yet will take the time to type in the middle of a match? Costing me wins all the time with that behaviour.
I'm on controller and my biggest problem is throwing elbows in the middle of a gunfight. I play Destiny, so the right thumbstick doesn't do anything in that game, so this melee on the R-stick is infuriating. I know you can remap the buttons, but I think I'd still be performing what ever action is mapped to it.
i've gotten double and triple kills with the carbine, just gotta keep em at range when you use it. Think of it as a longer range needler. Not useful if they'll immediately dip into cover, but can melt shields for a quick swap to BR if they're fairly in the open and a decent ways away. Also, got lucky once and 2 bursted someone who was at full, Pretty sure the second burst got lucky and hit his head.

It kills me when you have that teammate that says spanker is up or os is up but they never go for it and complain the whole time that you won't go for it.
I’m Currently diamond 3 it’s hard playing alone because I always get potatoes literally never play power weapons never play objectives Tip : Play the objectives it’s not about getting kills all the time simply playing the objective can go a long way if your just a death machine and not even helping your team play the objective then you’re just useless can’t be dead and zero carry time
I must admit I was guilty of constantly pushing everyone like I’m the best ever Now I step back a bit and stick with my team and try not to die don’t chase every kill down and push everything and I was happy with 20+ kills and 10 death but that’s no good now I get killed much less it’s how it should be played
I gave up I started at gold 1 and haven't made any progress ever since I ranked to gold 1 I haven't won a match in days im talking like a 15 game losing streak no matter how well I do and go positive every game I make zero progress so I gave up there should be some type of improvement but having literally zero progress at low rank is ridiculous.
I understand your final point but i want to point out that as an OG halo player. Grenades are way OP in this game compared to others (mainly reach and 3)
Yeah, ALL 3 teammates in B, other team grabs spanker and annihilates your whole team. It’s purely situational. But being stuck to your teammates isn’t always good.

Grenades are broken. I have many clips of nades going off under someone's feet when they are already damaged or no shield, and they live, like it didn't even touch them. Also have many where one goes off from a ways away, and obliterates someone full shielded, like a Spartan length away or more. Ridiculously unreliable.

Hows anyone any rank at all? I can't even find the play list wtf the challenge are grey out so idfk is it cuz we have fiesta? That sucks why can't we have all thre modes we want like swat snipers and pro where u start with an upgrade and a battle rifle or that dmr thing and pistol swat forgot but I dont want ranked to go away and I don't want to lost fiesta to get rose stranded modes that had been such a staple in the previous series.
EVERY game I play in ranked I have the worst teammates. I am always at the top of the list and my teammates...there is no way they should be the same rank as me. Also, this battle pass/ranked system is garbage. I wish it was how it used to be where you had a rank for every playlist. Ranked Arena being the only playlist where you actually level up is dumb af. It doesn't make me want to work towards anything. Get rid of the dumbass battlepass/ cosmetics and let's bring back competitive Halo, please. The way this game is set up is wack af
