are you just going by what someone told you, or are you thinking for yourself at all? Your mystery no1 answer is full of holes. like, why would they abandon the boat instead of the "exploding cargo"? Ya know, throw it over? You're not a believer because you are a "believer" of whatever you're told. Which is perfect for other people who have no clue, but will tell you they do.

Not 100% positive but I am sure I read or saw maybe a documentary on the Shroud of Turin and it was a man made item created well after the fantasy figure it was supposed to represent had died. Also I am sure they compared it to the "images" that were abundant that are in paintings drawings and such like that are commonplace images off the fantasy figure.!

I am the sort of person who likes shocking people (not in a mean way) and playing pranks on people, but not mean pranks. If the creator of the Voynich manuscript was anything like me, it could have been made as a prank. The code is not actually a code at all. It's just random letters that looks like a code. In WWII the Japanese never broke the US code for one simple reason. They assumed the coded messages were in English and so they tried translating the code into English. This would have never worked as the messages were not English, they were in the Navaho language. Once, a long time ago when such a prank was not so expensive, I had a neighbor who kept meticulous track of his car's gas milage. This can be handy in spotting an issue mor quickly for example, if your gas milage decreases suddenly, you'd now right away something was wrong. I began to wonder what would happen if his gas milage suddenly increased dramatically? Or if his car continued to run normally, but it stopped using gasoline completely? I had a 5 gallon gas can I used on my back country adventures. I check that he used regular unleaded gasoline and every morning when I got home from work (around 3am) I would top off his gas tank. I got his perspective later. He noticed right away that his gas gauge seemed to have stopped working. This was not a big deal as he knew his milage so he was confident he would know when to refuel. But when the time came he could not refill his tank as it was already full. It should have been 3/4 empty by now, but it was not. He checked all of the most likely possibilities (aside from the actual reason, something he considered so unlikely he didn't even think it posable until much much later. Over the next several weeks he was driven nuts trying to explain why his car was still running normally but it seemed to have stopped using fuel. Several weeks in he even asked me if I'd seen anyone messing with his car at light. I knew I could answer this question honestly because I had no mirror and could not see myself messing with his car. He even got a locking gas cap (which is a waste of money BTW) but these are easy to open if you know how. Though I knew the answer I asked him why he thought someone might be messing with his car, so he told me what was going on. I said that maybe he should stop worrying about it. If he knew why it was happening, maybe it would stop happening. He said later there was something in my answer that made him think I knew more than I was saying, so that night he stayed awake with the house lights turned off, sitting in the dark watching his car. I started fulling his gas tank and I saw the porch light turn on. He came out laughing saying it had been a good prank. Sadly, I was correct when I said, knowing what was happening might stop it happening. His car started using gasoline normally after that.
