I think she said that her mom is in a shelter also. Her and the boyfriend should try to make it and then proceed to her mom together, that way she'll have a comforter on her side. Now her mom knows she has money! IJS
I was her age when my mother abandoned me for her boyfriend. She said I was in the way and didn't want me home anymore. I still struggle with the mental effects from that. I no longer have contact I quit trying and got tired of being her problem. I'm glad you're giving them a voice because I had to walk everyday by faith. Still do.
You sound like a good person. I would suggest that you get some therapy. if you have not already done so. I was against it because I was raised with the belief that therapy was not for us (Black folk). After I sought counseling it help to heal some of the pain and hurt from my childhood. I am not saying therapy cures one overnight but it begins the journey towards healing.
I'm so sorry for what you have and are going through. My mom did the same thing to me and my siblings. Her words were "I want the perfect family which includes her boyfriend and new baby and my littlest sister." She moved me to the country where I had to live on the streets and in shelters for 4 years. Long story short my mom ended up having 3 strokes in the brain and could not take care of herself. Her perfect man was a drug dealer so the relationship didn't last 🤷🏾♀️. She was in and out of nursing homes and during that time of me having to feed her, do her hair, etc., God (YAH) was healing me on the inside of all the pain because I could have just ignored her all together. To see her in that state was so sad and I wouldn't wish it on noone. It was like she had no control of her body and was in torment because dementia had set in as well. I say all that to say ask God (YAH) to help you forgive her and ask God (YAH) to heal all wounds and your broken heart so that you can be free from the trauma. Just as Jesus Christ ( Yahusha Ha'Mashiach) forgave us and forgives us when we ask; as He died on the cross for our sins. He said to His Father in heaven,“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” (Luke 23:34/NKJV). He loves you unconditionally. It wasn't easy but God helped me through everything. I just buried my mom on October 7,2022 and all I can say is thank you Jesus ( Yahusha Ha'Mashiach) for forgiveness. It made the process much easier to deal with. In the book of Matthew 6:14-15 Jesus tells us that, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (Matthew 6:14-15/NKJV) "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." (2 Corinthians 5:21/NKJV) Stay strong and be encouraged. God's will be done in your life.♥️🙏

My mom & grandma took excellent care of us 4 girls who grew to be women that didn't abuse their female children! ALL mothers & grandmas do not do this! Some do!

What a pretty girl. Such sad eyes and sad delivery in her speaking voice. She's so calm and seemingly unbothered by her past and circumstances. Hope things turn around for her. She didn't act like it, but I think she caught on to the dig that Mark made at her about the, "...father of your unborn child...". This is sadly the way, it usually happens though. Young ladies, who have been abused, ignored and made to have low self esteem, always end up having a baby, by a guy who is jus as or even more neglectful and abusive as her own family members.

True. However I've also found that people in similar situations tend to co-miserate and not grow out of their circumstances. They become codependent on one another which makes it more comfortable living on the streets. I speak from experience. I spent many years homeless and as long as I was chasing women or had a Woman by my side things were not uncomfortable enough for me to really want to change. Interestingly enough I became semi-celibate and I have been housed ever since.
Can I just say, the host is highly spiritual and understood this was a generational curse. By the grandma getting messed with, it allowed for people to think they could mess with her mother and when they succeeded they aim for the next generation. Never be silent with abuse and never stop fighting. Break curses by exposing them and fighting back. God will guide and strengthen you.

@@lql1094 but it takes generations of making those right decisions. It's not a curse until you or your family has experienced it. Whether it be an actual curse as in "witches" and whatnot or just metaphorically a curse, it makes no difference because the results/damage are the same. These are taboo subjects that are inherently not discussed within the family oftentimes and therefore it is so difficult to break that chain. Perhaps that's a more palatable way of putting it than a curse. A chain that simply continues unbroken. But anyone who's experienced it knows it feels like nothing less than a curse!!
I love this young lady. She’s one of many I have a sweet spot for. I pray& love all my brother’s & sister’s going through any hardships, but these youngsters really break my heart when I hear their stories though I pray& feel sympathy for ALL. I am not saying to have an abortion, but what I am trying to get across is that this young lady's life is already confusing and tough. She is not married and has no support and no money. I am praying for her and that child that things get better for her and not worse. Explain to me, how the baby will save her? Is she planning going back to school? Or getting a decent job? How? The first step to healing is admitting that all your family is trash. Then understand that sometimes your greatest enemy are people of your own household. You will make it. Get into a school or trade, take advantage of the state programs and never let those user ass ex family of origin near you or your kids again. God provides and protect. Be well.

This hits too close , I was put out on my own at 15 , because I told my mother her husband was touching me and coming into my room while I was sleeping. I stayed on the streets and sometimes with friends until the age of 17 and had a good friend sign a lease for a apartment for me seems I was working but not of 18 I couldn’t get a place in my name so I was so thankful for my friend. As a mother of 7 my children are my everything and I ALWAYS LISTEN TO MY CHILDREN !!! I would never choose my children over anyone!!! I wish I could just hug this beautiful young lady and let her know how strong she is and that I promise everything will be okay!!! Keep being you beautiful lady!!! I’m sure your mother loves you she just don’t know any better to do better hunny!!! Marcus, I loved when you said, “I’m just going to keep on working” after learning her mom and her connected after years. Just talking to these AWESOME, resilient, unfortunately forgotten people. I ride the bus right now and seeing the homeless who ride the bus (it’s free till June 2023) their eyes have pain. I make it a point to converse with them as much I can. I could not do it, I’d check into a state facility before that life. Then needing to get high once they develop an addiction. Such a HARD life!

Sometimes being the beautiful one in a family is a curse. They treat u like you don't need support... They try to crush you at every turn ... They can't even see the pain inside of you because their jealousy is too great... They despise you because of the attention... Then u get out there in the world and your esteem is trash so it makes you prime meat for users. And at the end of the day nobody really cares because you're pretty...
So very well spoken, this reminds me of myself when I was a teenager, everything except being beautiful, I wasn’t what you would call beautiful, but far from Ugly. I can relate to being crushed at every turn, having low self esteem thus being prime meat for users….and that no one really cared…now that was the story of my life…😞
The sad part of this story is that there are so many of them that are similar. But people don't understand that sometimes this is generational dysfunction in some families until the cycle is broken.

She is a very pretty young lady, I can see the blank expression, and solemn look on her face, that was quite concerning. I believe it's all the psych meds they probably got her taking. that's leaving her motionless and sort of spacey. But you made her smile and that was priceless she is so adorable and I wish her nothing but the best and all of her future endeavors.
When my ex told me she was molested by her uncle I asked her if she was ready to make him pay In blood or in prison she declined both options because she thought it would cause to much family drama I was ready to crash out for her because I was hurt wen she told me that but even more hurt wen she didn’t wann take action My family ever tell me sum creepy shit like they been touch They won’t have any options ima take action regardless (On my mama)

My biggest flex in Life is that I created a safe haven for my kids. I didn't bring them here to be abused nor to suffer and I made sure to give them a life filled with security. My prayers for this baby.
