The Richardson guy was awful, he just want to blame Terry without looking at other evidences. That's why there many innocence people in prison. Like l pick you, now I'm going to find the evidence to put you in prison. I'm glad that the lady solved the case. Reminds me of the movie about the detective goes after the doctor forever because he believes that he killed his wife which is not true.

When my exe's house burned I freaked out and was yelling at the firefighters. I asked where the man who lives there was, they said I don't know I don't know, then kept asking what I was doing there, but they couldn't tell me where he was or if he was ok, so I just started screaming my answers and questions like a lunatic. I wasn't f'ing around. If I came in and found a family member murdered in my house, I imagine I would yell at the officers if I sensed any degree of f'ng around. Real or imagined. So I would probably be in similar shoes as the first woman's innocent husband. So you never know. I also think there's a lot of family members and spouses in jail who just got pinned with the crime. And there's a lot who should be in jail when suspicious deaths raise no suspicions. Things are not always as they seem.

You are actually right...There's so many emotions and feelings one can have on the deaths of a love one...Roxann husband reacted not as one of red flags but a grieving man who found his wife brutally murdered....The police was quick in judgements to make him a suspect...That is a true sign of their incompetence!!....They had many times to solved this case way earlier than it took this long... I am glad the real killer was found...He should never ever be released BACK INTO SOCIETY!!...A child would have no escape from his claws at 86 years old!!!!..

If I found a loved one murdered I’d feel both sadness and anger, probably be screaming, it would be impossible to fully control my feelings and my actions. No idea how I would sound in a SOS call… I didn’t think Terri’s reaction was a red flag at all. Police should definitely not see such reaction as a red flag!

Thank you for sharing that! It made me so angry hearing that the husband’s anger and yelling was a red flag because it is NOT! Being angry, rude, demanding when you find your loved one murdered is normal and is not seen from someone who is the perpetrator. One of the red flags that show up in 911 calls when the caller is the perpetrator is actually politeness! Fortunately for me, the closest situation to this for me was finding my son unconscious from a seizure (the only one he has ever had). I thought he might be dying and I can tell you I was RUDE on that call!

It's perfectly normal to be angry at the dispatcher. Those people are infuriating in an emergency situation. Some more so than others. The first thing they should say is, help is on the way, please tell me what you see so the officers can be prepared when they get there. Also it happens quite often that killers don't bring a weapon to the scene. These are most often home invasions and pepping toms. As for the rage killing, serial killers, and peppeing toms do this.

I don't understand miller's wife wanting "to be a good wife" AFTER he told her he'd murdered a girl! 😯 And another reason she said she stayed with him was because she didn't know if it was true or not. 🤔 Who in their right mind would not want to find out if there might be such an unresolved case in that area? Wouldn't most people want to know whether they're living with a murderer or not?!! And who in their right mind would want to live another minute with someone who just told them that; whether it's true or not?!!! 😯 Claiming to have murdered someone with all the gory details is just not normal conversation! I would be out of there real fast and taking that info to the cops! As for the 3rd story, the survivor/victim should have realized that 'muggers' do NOT lure their victims to an address the victim can identify later! Muggers operate out there on the streets. If you're lured to an address under false pretenses, the plan is you're not getting out alive. He was incredibly lucky to have escaped. He should have realized the seriousness of what he experienced, put his 'embarrassed' ego aside and reported it to police. It might have helped save a life.

The mistake that the cop made in seeing the Zombie dude being good to his daughter, beyond the fact that it could have been an act, is that there are plenty of men who see the women that are their victims as objects, playthings, worthless, but who are also great husbands &/or dads, because those women do matter to them. But then, when you get a look at his house, you realize that even being a decent dad when eating our, but forcing her to live in a dump, should make the cop lose that "gut" feeling.

The detectives need to keep investigating the first guy because I doubt that we know of all the violence he caused throughout his life. It seems everyone who really knew him was abused by him in some way all throughout his life so why would they think he stopped these horrible attacks after the 90's? He was clearly abusing his daughter just by having her live in such a horrible and filthy home. Did they investigate if he assaulted her? She was alone in the house with this man who was a deviant. Also, it's so sad that the other woman who was stabbed by him was not believed!!! The horrible double trauma she must have gone through to be stabbed by someone, take him to court, look into his face while testifying against this monster and then people deciding they couldn't tell who was telling the truth! Look at his history! By then he already had a history of stabbing people in the BACK. I believe his mom probably did beat him with the belt, that story sounds believable but who knows why she was doing it, she might have been finding signs he wasn't right all along and back then people would definitely try to beat the devil out of you. That's not right but, I could see that being a truthful detail of his story. She was afraid of him and didn't want him back in the house and probably had a lot more reasons than that note and his first known stabbing that made her fear as strong as it was. He looked just like his dad, and it seems he was her only child so, to cut ties with him completely took a lot for her to do, I imagine. Too bad his mother had passed by the time he was tried so we could not hear her side.

The first story merely corroborates my disdain for the police and their investigators. They say that Terry lawyering up raised suspicion making him a suspect which is ridiculous. Only a fool talks to the police in a case like this sans lawyer. The cops are so eager to close a case that they will do and say anything to make the innocent appear guilty. They are unethical in their methods. And as usual, the inept police went for the lowest hanging fruit, even using Terry’s angry outbursts as a sign of his “guilt.” The man’s wife was just brutally murdered; of course he is going to freak out. They couldn’t find the true killer so they made Terry’s life hell for the next 20 years, branding him a killer even though they never arrested him. Pathetic and infuriating.

Everyone reacts differently, but our spidey sense went off because his reaction was abnormal? Is there a “normal” reaction when everyone reacts “differently”? Words matter, guys. Just admit Terry was unlikeable, and “the husband did it” would provide an easy solution. Easy solutions are more attractive than hard work.
