The other night I dimmed the lights in my home, put on some instrumental jazz, lit a candle, and read a book. I kept thinking to myself, “ I love this! This makes me feel good.” I’ll definitely be doing this more often.
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one LYXBAG Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

For me, luxury means being able to buy groceries without worrying about not having enough money after paying rent, medical bills, college loans, etc. Luxury is waking up without feeling suffocated by your financial situation.

Heavy on the "declutter your space". I recently invested hours and hours of my time and invested in containers and shelves to organize my bedroom. The difference in my mood, my focus, my creativity, etc. was almost INSTANT, after I turned my messy and cluttered spaced into a very organized one. I was very intentional with where things were placed. For example, I covered the walled in decor and images that remind me of my goals and spark creativity or motivation in me. I organized my shelves, drawers, closet and dressers in a way that makes all the things that I need for all my daily rituals more accessible. I now feel so clear minded doing my daily rituals in this space and it takes my about half of the time to get things done. Now that everything in my space has an intentionally designated spot, maintaining the cleanliness of my space has also become so much easier and just that has had so many benefits to my life alone. Definitely definitely definitely agree that everyone should invest in their space!
Not having to money and the freedom is LUXURY! I now preach to my friends, family and Colleagues. " Get your money right ". Financial freedom is the best kind of freedom
I don't compromise on my body. That's why I stay in the gym at least 4 times a week. Other stuff is easily fixed with makeup or a wig I buy 3 yrs membership to save money 💰 instead of paying monthly 😊

I am a student managing my time and working on feeling my best is the most important!I love a good tea and a proper place, clean and organised. Also always dressing my best is really important for my self confidence and happyness. So i invest in good tea and classic garments that i appreciate.

My definition of luxury means putting in a small effort into myself. A High Ponytail, Dresses, Morning Skincare (3 steps), Oil Pulling, Green Smoothie, Eating Yummy Keto Meals, Meditation, Moisturizing, Coloring and Spending Hours Reading.

Just because you are from a small town doesn’t mean your life is “mundane”. Some people have different values than vanity. I can get on board with luxury meaning saving time so that you can do the things you value in life. But if your life isn’t “luxurious” does not mean its bad or that you’re lacking glow. Luxury to me means being grateful for what I do have and not trying to stress out and want for MORE.

Jaz, I really have to tell you this. You really look like the clermont twins. Like, omg. This was way before they had the plastic surgery on their face. When they used to dress classy. Have you thought about juicing and doing that in place of the mocktail? I’m not sure what most mocktails have but they may have too much sugar or “bad” stuff in it. But a bright colored juice that looks like a mocktail would have more health and beauty benefits. Adding a garnish is optional and advised because why not? It’s luxurious.
Jas, let me first express this video was very well executed! I definitely add a dose of luxury in my daily life. I have done and have incorporated all of your ideas except one..the day pass at a lux hotel. Usually, the passes are for hotel guests. However, I will research and seek those that allow day passes for non-guest. A simple solution for would to treat myself tow to three times a year as a guest so that this will become a norm for me! I also believe I was born and destined for greatness as living great is definitely part of my plan!!! Luxury living has a vast areas of meanings..we simply must believe, receive, and walk into our given right and benefits!! Keep up the great videos!!!❤❤❤🎉🎉

So true. I'm in Atl too and we definitely know how to get that luxury vibe for low lol. I like using better words to describe waiting on things. I also like to get beach massages when I go out of town instead of the hotel/resort spa :) And saving my gift cards until I really wanna shop and don't need to spend my own money. Great video!
Luxury to me is - Quality. I'm with you on the purchasing thiings once. Clothes, perfumes, hair products, shoes, bedding, food, and services. I would rather buy things that are good quality at a more affordable for me price that may also be a little higher than purchase a bunch of cheap quality things. And good quality doesn't always have to break the bank. I feel like our grandparents did that. Their clothes were so high quality but may not have been that expensive. Though I recognize quality was a standard back then. - Taking care of myself. Nutritious foods that provide ROI. Massages may seem like luxury, but I've learned they're a part of Healthcare (that's why some insurance plans cover them). What I take in and who I spend time with is also a part of this. - At this point cotton percale sheets are not luxury, they're a must. I learned in 2022 that those sheets are for me and that's all I buy now. I'm so sorry, if you aren't sleeping on cotton percale, please try them. They make me feel beautiful and loved and cared for, I don't know how to explain it🤣. Sleeping is just a fuller experience with them lol. When those popped up on the screen I fell out. Freedom of time, I have 3 kids and im an artist, its so hard now to find time to do what makes me happy & I often feel upset that I don't have that time for myself so anything I can do to free up my time makes me so much happier...ill also be glad to purge our place so my mind doesn't feel cluttered

Thanks for the note on mocktails. Totally a super fun and healthy thing I’m into too. Luxury to me means really taking the time to delve myself in the extra special things life offers. I was having a thought yesterday about this in terms of cars. I mean life doesn’t always have to have only luxury. One could say they’d like a car for instance for fuel efficiency and convenience and a luxurious car for the obvious reasons. I just love how open and balanced everything you talk about is.

For me luxury is stability, making sure everything is in order and just doing what makes you happy. My luxury lifestyle was put on pause cause I want to step into homeownership. I am definitely doing that so I can live fabulous in a nice beautiful home and start my luxurious shopping. This is my year to be bad & bougie and I can’t wait. I deserve it.🎉🎉

21:00 I splurged a bit and got some stemmed glassware. Very simple, very sturdy, and I feel luxurious as can be even just drinking iced tea. Especially since I have insulated tumblers for most of the day. Also the mocktails! If anyone wants to keep it simple, just about any liquor in a drink can be substituted with Sprite or something similar. Another thing I do is buy the travel sizes of luxury skin care. Hand lotion, for example. During the day I use the cheap stuff, but at night at home, it's the yummy kind that I can enjoy. Even better if you can snag the free samples, lol. It's also a great way to test the items out, so you're not stuck with a high-end item that doesn't work for you.
I agree I started investing more in my room and I can breathe better. To add on to your point, getting a piece of the luxury experience is a great way to enjoy things at your pace. So, maybe a small leather good instead of a handbag or going to a fancy restaurant for dessert and some drinks help fulfill those experiences. Also, don’t sleep on Groupon. One thing I do need to maintain consistency on is my routines, any tips ?
I deeply relate with growing up in a small town but wanting more😅. I leveraged my education and moved to a big city . Luxury to me is also outsourcing services like cleaning or laundry. Growing up chores took up so much of my time. Being able to order cooked food when I feel like it - luxury.
