This kid, for some reason, reminds me of jayden!! Marcus, the spirit is telling me you need to take him under your wing like you did, jayden. My heart aches for him!. These no good for nothing foster parents need to be locked up.
This is a beautiful young man! It’s sad that Grown people let their wounds negatively affect the kids. This young man is extremely intelligent and his heart is still growing despite all that he has been through. Sending him a lot of love, clarity, understanding, strength, and discernment. Blessings ❤✨
I am deeply troubled by the circumstances that have unfolded for Deshaun, a young man with undeniable intellectual gifts. It is profoundly disheartening that his brilliance went unrecognized, leaving him in an educational environment where meaningful learning was minimal, if it existed at all. The failures of DFCS, the public school system he attended, and his foster parent are not only egregious but should lead to charges of abuse and neglect. The foster parent should, in fact, be charged with both child and animal endangerment. Despite Deshaun's persistent efforts to seek help, he was consistently ignored by the very system meant to support him. Deshaun's story was featured on an episode of the A&E show "60 Days In." At just 17 years old, he spent six months in jail for shoplifting food from Walmart. His bail, set at $150, was raised by fellow inmates so he could bond out on his 18th birthday. This stark reality underscores the challenges he has faced and the urgent need for justice and support in his life. It is particularly distressing to note that when Deshaun called his foster mom to sign his bond, she refused, adding another layer of abandonment and rejection to his already tumultuous experience.
I remember this episode this was a while back I cannot believe they have not helped this young man. I do remember those in jail raising his bail as his family would not pay for it. I could have sworn that episode was way way back. Marcus please look this up even in jail he was this same way he needs guidance and a chance at a future. I am shocked to see him on this and was hopeful that one of the contestants would have helped him once they were released.
I been through something similar as a child if homie want to reach out I’m here! It’s just the beginning young man keep pushing let that abuse be the fuel to your success
Great interview! This is a very smart young guy who was featured on "60 Days In". His mother is trash for the way she treated him! Prayers up for him🙏🏽
Marcus, you need to stay focused. You just asked him out the blue about his sex life that has nothing to do with him pouring his heart out and let people know his life story you were wrong for that blessings to him 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 God is going to get her
I pray this young man gets what he needs and desire out here in this world, lord protect him from all evil and continue to allow him to shine and prosper.
Oh my goodness, Jaden was the first person I thought of in comparison😊. Good luck young guy I pray🙏🏽life situations turn out for the betterment in your favor. God bless u 🙌🏽
I believe he was on "60 Days In" when he was caught stealing from Walmart, and the inmates attempted to raise his bail so he wouldn't have to spend his 18th birthday behind bars.
Georgia has racist Jim Crow Era sped placements for kids with no parents and kids who's parents they don't want to deal with. They actually aren't even for academics so you sit there being abused. There's one branch of this called GNET and I assume most or all of the staff work for Parapo.
I saw him on an episode of 60 days in.. His bond was $100 i believe and the black guy with the dreads wanted to help him get out. His family said let him stay
He needs a go fund me for his future and some strong brothers to just say we got you man. I’m thinking about the 100 black men organization and others to help him with guidance he is destined for greatness.
Prayers go out to you. Please keep your head up. I’m sorry you had to go through that but it makes you stronger stay positive God has you. Im speaking this in your life It takes a strong person to talk about the trauma and pain. My heart goes out to you. You got this Thank you Marcus for sharing the interview.
I think they do and schools do as well. I had a parent trying to get her kid labeled with ADHd so she could get a check. Poor kid was left handed and she wanted the case worker to get her service to teach him how to write. The issues they pile up in the system they give more money.
@@yabelli-eq2vv I could be wrong but I was thinking he was talking about children under 18. Unsure how it works in other states. The states I have lived in the parents get extra money when the kids have a diagnosis for something. I have learned of things people getting extra money for I never heard before.
Yes please if you can help him in any way please do so. You are usually very good with these type of people, from what I see. As usual may God bless you on your journey.
I do believe him. But also he can't remember a lot either. An IEP is not just for intellectual disabilities you can also be socially and emotionally delayed and unable to handle big classes. But seems he could have still done the reg gen classes and have the supervision of IEP bc he may have autism and not even know it.
@@mindingmybusiness75 He’s more intelligent than Jayden he has better head on his shoulder he’s working bout his shit he has awful parents who basically exploited him for mini check they received from this young kid feel so bad for him Jayden is easier to be took advantage of more his kid fully aware of what’s happening around him
He seemingly doesn't have a grasp of the gravity of the situation he created by calling and lying to CPS. His mother is a Teacher. She could have lost her job. The placement of his siblings was jeopardized. It became evident to them that he was lying, then they had to figure out what to do. How do you deal with someone in your home (a child) who is a potential threat to everyone in the house? He had behaviors that his parents didn't know how to deal with before the calls to CPS. What to do with a 12-13 year old boy who wets the bed. A normal bed would be trash. Imagine her frustration. Now he says he was abused. There is not an "answers to all things parenting" manual. He probably ended up in LD classes as a result of his unexplainable (at the time) lies. Someone just determined that something was wrong with him and took the focus off the parents. Don't get me wrong, his mother was not without blame. Now she is a Teacher with a case file with CPS she may have difficulty changing jobs. Yep! 'When he turns 18, he"s out. He was a threat. They and the extended family will remember that part.
Kids lying to CPS like that is a crazy red flag for deeper issues. Sadly while foster/adopted kids are more likely to experience ill treatment, sometimes their issues and trauma can also lead to lying behaviors. It's really sad and just a horrible situation that can, like you said, put other people in the foster/adoptive families in jeopardy. I feel sympathy for this guy, but I also wonder about the legitimacy of his story here. He could still be spinning tall tales for attention for all we know, without any verification
Sucks, this world just sucks. I hope and pray this young man can get a help up. Damn if i had money I swear this would be the type of person i would want to help the most. He could be something really special. I just feel it
Praying for this young man that woman is horrible she tried to convince him something was wrong with him thank God it didn't work stay strong young man❤🙏🏿
Poor poor poor lil one! It seems that his past trauma affected him deeply. But, to God be the glory!!! This young man is still here and he's still standing. I must give God another SHOUT OUT!!!! It seems that this young man was put through the ringer over and over and over again, without the knowledge or the assistance given needed to figure out how to help himself.. It seems to me that he was declared a loser, before the game ever started. I'm sure many of you can imagine what that must feel like in the mind of a very small male child, who was dealt a losing hand from his biological mother's womb.( meaning, he was prematurly labeled at/ after birth) .
I’m sorry I don’t believe he was ever in gifted classes, maybe the top classes in regular classes .. I was in gifted my whole schooling and graduated high school at 15 and there’s no way a gifted program would easily release a child over an IEP based on behaviour issues..
Depends on the county, funding, program requirements. He mentioned Clayton County, if he went to school there it's an absolute mess! In the 2000s, Clayton County schools lost their accreditation and people who were seniors had to start over in other counties as freshmen. I watched it happen at my high school. This guy doesn't seem obviously gifted by this conversation, but it's hard to know either way what he showed in school at a young age
Dang i wish this was longer. I wanted to know who the foster parents were. Also how did he cope in Atlanta jail for 6 months. I hope he finds shelter soon 🙏🏾
Im so happy your posting alot of interviews . Im so addicted to watching. I just have to start hitting the thumbs up cause i forget most of the time but I'm going to remember from now on. Your so good your channel makes me want to start a Seattle Steet Interviews . We love you
I’m almost positive he was on locked up. Look up 60 days in.. the inmates bailed him out for his bday even tho his bail was only $200 and his Mom said no bc he’s autistic and annoys/bothers her! Poor baby.. but low key he’s kinda poppin bc this is the second time I seen him on my screen ❤
I was going to comment that alot of kids placed in gifted classes turn out to be autistic. Don't know this young man but I'm a speech therapist 20 years experience and I've seen this quite often
@@lynnmckenzie2942 i just looked it up and actually they didn’t bail him out because his Mom said no she wouldn’t come sign for him to get out and she had to sign it bc he was 17. So they made him a bday cake and told him to get his GED and show his mom he’s making progress so she will sign him out and he can get a job since he has a GED.
Damn wow really play sounds pretty smile like you got a lot of themselves his energy is awesome it doesn't sound like he very outspoken I cannot see medical issues nowhere but I pray to God he finds his way I wish him all the best young man don't let people talk about you stupid and you crazy and you all the bad things cuz you're not I can't see that I am rooting for him❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽😊
He has emotional trauma, not mental illness. This is terrible, but unfortunately it’s common. SOME foster parents, NOT ALL, just take these children in for a paycheck.
I don’t think he is socially awkward. I think he is going through some things at his age trying to navigate through life and the way things are going it can be hard and cruel.
People don’t question it I promise when it comes to IEP it’s such a huge umbrella and the school receive money for it. They especially get single mothers my three year old was in child care and had issues pronouncing words however the doctor said she was fine and said we should continue to work with her. Her teacher recommended to have her evaluated and recommended I put her on a IEP the moment I mention my husband her whole tune changed smh they really be on one. They rush you to sigh the papers but the moment I said well me and my husband lady start talking real different
Marcus...This kid was on a jail tv show. I kept looking and thinking he looks familiar and then when he said his name I knew it was him. He may not have known it was a show because it was a undercover show with certain inmates. I won't say the name because this show still airs.
We all know that having zero social skills, very little street knowledge, no real life experience, no real friends a lack of finances, never having experienced real love , peace and joy, no guidance, having been lied to his entire life about his mental status just to name a few things, would be a a rescipe for disaster on the streets anywhere . It's like a piece of cheese in plain view for a rat.
