=== Illallah on Every Breathh zikr was the first of four zikrs danced at our monthly Wildwood zikr night in Kapiti, New Zealand on the day after the Christchurch mosque massacre. Where does one turn after such a terrible event. For us, we turned to the central phrase of islam. La Ilaha Illallah. There is Only God. Nothing, Only God.
It was not easy settling into this practice with the jagged emotions of the time. At the point the clip starts I felt we needed to free ourselves of any constraints in movement and actions so I invited the circle to walk freely. The change of atmosphere was profound.
