In this episode of Seek One, we share the hunt for the Alabama archery record from BJ Davis of Birmingham. After being inspired by Seek One videos, BJ landed hunting permission on some prime areas around Birmingham which eventually led him to this record buck!

The most impressive thing is not the 200" deer, nor BJ's dedication to find and stick him. The most impressive thing is that this young man is committed to God and family. I've listened to BJs podcast and I listened to your first episode. BJ needs to be one of your guys you film. You said you're looking for more guys to film and he has the attitude, the emotion and the same love for nature and God that you guys have.. And he's a good self filmer. Great video. His taxidermist is awesome. I watched the video where he went to look at the buck, that taxidermist is a first class guy. He was as appreciative to be able to mount that buck as the man was grateful for harvesting it.

Congratulations on the giant ! October 21 2013 I had a deer show up that I had never seen before , I only needed a few glances to know he was well over 200 inches and I thought when he walked off I’d never see him again but he stuck around and showed himself 2-3 times a week . My father had a heart attack November 1 and I spent days with him in the hospital and I hunted him as hard as I could , I finally got him November 20 . He went 207 gross with about 25-30 inches broken off ! It’s beyond stressful but worth it !

That was absolutely fantastic.. Great job man.. Ive never been a whitetail guy, i mainly hunt elk and blacktails i went down south hunted Tennessee and rattled/grunted my first whitetail in and i am so hooked, i am boarder line obsessed with whitetail hunting now.. I cannot wait to go back down south whitetail hunting next year, Seek One and THP guys have pretty much triggered this obsession i have now for whitetails.. Keep it up..
