This is it everyone, a compilation of every car facts video I’ve ever done plus 20 new ones at the end for recurring viewers of the series, 200 in total. It’s going to be a very long video so grab a snack and sit back… #gtaonline
@@EllisHudsonnthe first 20 facts are from the first video, I directly downloaded it so I couldn’t edit the music without also editing my voice, music gets lower, my voice gets lower ergo the same problem would happen.
Lotta people dont notice that Alot of street vechiles spawn with unique unobtainable customization, the sadler can have a bed cover or a work rack for tools, the vapid minivan van get a spoiler and a few other cars have unobtainable customisation
The stratum is a great example, has so many different variants. If only we could actually add these options in LSC then the car would be a lot more exciting.
1) 3:18 The Faction's suspension data contains code that makes it behave this way. Rockstar tried to fix it, but broke the lowriders in the process. This change was then reverted. Some other cars like the Zeno may behave similarly with certain upgrades installed (aftermarket mirrors in the Zeno's case). However, hitboxes are at fault in this case. 2) 3:31 This is not true for all cars. Currently, at least 8 vehicles in the game contain a piece of handling code named "spoiler_mod_doesnt_increase_grip". Furthermore, some vehicles gain traction from other parts, such as the Toros, which gains grip from its front bumpers. 3) 4:10 Putting the roof down on a convertible does not change its hitbox. The collision model for the roof is still there. 4) 7:09 Worse, there are even some cars that come with wide arches, like the Jugular and Issi Sport, that have a track width which would fit regular non-wide fenders. Moreover, the Issi Sport's wheels wouldn't even fit at the end of its arches. 5) 7:39 This is a rather unreliable method. If you want to check in game, then it's better to put the car's face against the wall and accelerating. However, you'd need a certain amount of power to do this. Above anything, I'd suggest going to the gtacars site and looking up your vehicle. They have all the information you'd need. 6) 9:31 The Landstalker is correctly badged, as Dundreary is Lincoln's counterpart in the GTA lore. Apart from the Regina, all of the other cars under this brand are based off Lincolns. I'm surprised you didn't go for the more egregious examples of the Vapid Contender or the Dinka Jester Classic. 7) 10:14 You rectify this point later in the video, so you should have left this segment out. For the record, it's most likely intentional with a hint of laziness. 8) 10:30 For the sake of posterity, technically none of the cars in the game are JDM, as they are not RHD. They are Japanese cars. Those two terms are not interchangeable, but confusion is understandable. JDM cars are built to be specifically sold in Japan. Japanese cars are sold anywhere. 9) 11:17 This claim is 100% bogus. They just needed an excuse to incentivize GTA+ subscriptions. The removed vehicles can end up in the Vinewood Car Club showroom, thus giving you a better chance of grabbing them. Moreover, these limited time offers are pure FOMO that encourage buying Shark Cards. 10) 13:13 Not a framerate issue. They simply reworked the way they coded the customization options as they updated the game. This allowed them to add different light sources with each part model. 11) 13:30 The Insurgent weighs 8600 kg. 12) 14:21 The Wastelander actually carries a wrecked Ruiner model (ruiner3 in the files) during its mission in the Import/Export DLC. As for the players standing on the bed, there is a handling flag in the game called "peds_can_stand_on_top". If a car has it, the players won't be flung off at speed. The Wastelander doesn't have it. 13) 18:20 False. I can think of the Vigero and the Dukes off the top of my head. 14) 22:41 This is because the real life SLR's hood opens forward, then up. They didn't want to animate that in the game, so it just rotates up from the tip. If it opened up more like this, it would look terrible. 15) 29:09 I think you have a basic misunderstanding of how nitrous works. Nitrous oxide (NO2) is let into the car's intake manifold. This cools the air going into the engine, making it more oxygen-rich. The higher oxygen density allows more fuel to be burnt, making more power. GTA simulates this in a basic way, where a shot of Nos just temporarily increases the engine's power. The flames coming out of the exhaust are an exaggeration of the excess unburnt fuel that ignites in the hot pipes. What you are describing here is a thrust application, like a rocket boost. Nitrous does not work like that, neither in real life, nor in the game. 16) 31:32 This depends on the livery. The Redwood set follows your logic. 17) 32:35 That's a Serrano. If you knew this already, you should have clarified. 18) 33:23 Breaking the glass does not change the collision model. 19) 34:54 The Bentley EXP 9 F concept came out in 2012, so there is no need to speculate. Other GTA cars based on concepts that then saw production are the Jester and the Riata. 20) 35:38 The glitch you might be talking about is brakeboosting. It's where you tap the brake at speed while the front suspension is decompressing. This allows the car to gain a major speed boost, making it a staple in GTA 5 racing. This, however, is applicable to any car in the game. The special thing about the Pariah was that its last engine upgrades were given a way higher power multiplier than intended, making it the fastest land vehicle (136 mph) in a straight line at the time. Today, that title goes to the HSW Stinger TT (168.5 mph). 21) 36:53 These are called helix doors. Koenigseggs have them. 22) 37:36 International flag etiquette dictates that a flag should not move backwards. Apart from the US, you can see this on Singaporean and Australian planes. There are varying degrees of adherence to this suggestion. As for the car, they just copied this cue from the Divo (which does respect flag etiquette) and reversed it to make it different. 23) 39:10 This is a stretch. the only thing those two headlights have in common is a 4 element design. This is just a coincidence, as the two look nothing alike otherwise. 24) 39:46 This is also a stretch. The Comet Retro Custom is based on the RWB Porsches, which have a big following in their own right. The concept of a wide-body Porsche is too weak of a link to rely on. 25) 41:08 You don't know the half of it. When it came out, the Drift Tampa would have been well balanced at the top of the Muscle class, but instead it was shoved in Sports to languish in obscurity. 26) 42:22 False. Somewhat. While it is true that the T20's active spoiler does not vary its traction increase, it still provides one. You can break the spoiler, meaning it won't work anymore and the car will have less traction. 27) 43:19 The actual interesting part about this fact is that the Zorusso (Zerouno) has Divo taillights and the Thrax (Divo) has Zerouno taillights. 28) 45:03 You have correctly identified that the Issi Rally is a crossover. As such, it makes more sense to classify it as an SUV rather than a hot hatch. 29) 47:08 The Schafter V12 and LWB were added at the same time. Rockstar put the non-armoured versions in the Sports class and the armoured ones in the Sedans class, instead to putting the V12s in Sport and LWBs in Sedans. They couldn't be bothered to properly fix it, so all 4 cars are usable in sedan races. 30) 48:31 This is a carryover from the regular Weevil. They probably thought it looked funny. 31) 49:23 Ok, so 2 things here: a) the DR1 is an Indycar, not an F1 car; and b) the BR8 is based on a car that predates the halo. Moreover, Indycar uses an aeroscreen, not a halo. Even if the DR1 is based on the current chassis, the aeroscreen was adapted only 8 years into this generation. 32) 50:31 Any removable panel on a racecar must be tightly secured, meaning that it makes sense for things other than engine covers to be held down by pins, as they provide both security and ease of disassembly. Look at the F1 GTR longtail. It has pins in the front panel. 33) 52:00 It's not just a random word. It's the manufacturer, BF. Bürger-fahrzeug. 34) 54:33 Between hydraulics, bags and sound systems, you need a huge amount of electricity to run a lowrider, sometimes with the engine off. So yes, you do need that many batteries. 35) 55:30 Correct, there is no Truck class in GTA 5, leaving them all scattered across multiple classes. The interesting thing, though, is that there was one in GTA 4. 36) 1:02:52 See #12. 37) 1:09:23 It is a bit misleading to say that cars are blacklisted. It is more likely that the specific mission cars have a special tag on them that allows them to be towed. 38) 1:13:15 It must be mentioned that the HSW Weaponized Ignus is the fastest supercar around a circuit. This does not automatically justify the price, but it is critical to mention. 39) 1:13:34 The Baller variations definitely count, as the game treats them like different models.
If you plan on making more videos like this in the future, I'd advise you to look deeper into how the game works. It's an interesting topic. I recommend starting with Broughy1322's Fact Finding and car testing series, as well as looking at the gtacars site.
Also the one about the rev gauge going out of the scale on the Hakuchou Drag (around 9:23) - it's for every vehicle, they broke tachometers a couple updates ago for god knows what reason.
10:14 - the Fukaru Drift livery may in fact be intentional. A lot of Japanese drift cars, especially in the higher up D1GP series, have mirrored liveries to create a symmetrical design. It's funny however, considering the Jester Classic in this game absolutely cannot drift.
@@locbt if you want really interesting fact i recommend watching facts n glitches by darkviperau, he is the only one that still teach me new thing about gta
Most people don't know that the Vapid Guardian basically has super glue on its truck bed.... You can stand up in it and NEVER fall out, no matter how crazy the driver is driving. Never tried carrying a bike on the back tho
@@v_Falls_vThe Duneloader has this feature aswell of not falling down, and in my opinion it's works better than the Guardian because you can crouch on the back of cabin while in the bed, which makes you glued to the truck even more
11:23 I totally remember getting myself a Hijak Khamelion simply because I stumbled upon it in a car meet video on RU-vid. All the peeps there were acting like they had never laid eyes on that car before, and it got me excited, so I just had to get one for myself.
Tldr; question at 29:43, fast car dont need cooling. NASCAR Stock Cars do have small openings for better front downforce, in cold temperatures the pit crew could even tape the grille to block air as much as possible without blowing up the engine (until the Gen 7 2022 car). They could afford to do that because the water cooling system runs at a very high pressure that forces water to boil at a higher temperature than 100°C (around 115°C, i'm not sure). Aaand there's the fact the engines are made to run at this very high temperature range as well, they literally have to plug the oil tank into the wall and flow it thru the engine to pre-heat everything before starting it up to not damage it. These tiny spaces became a thing mostly due to the high speeds around the big ovals, aero engineers realised that when you're going 300km/h you dont really need a lot of opening because the air comes in pressurized and in a very high quantity, too much opening and you'll just create drag and slow the car down.
9:30 Dundreary is GTA's equivalent to Lincoln so it won't make sense for the Landstalker XL to be badged as a Vapid. Plus, with the new DLC, the Aleutian already claims the Landstalker's spot
the vysser is based of spyker, which only really made one iconic car. so i imagine, rockstars will keep that lore in their game with only 1 vysser car.
additionally, all of the f1 cars/indy cars available in gta v are older models before a halo was implemented, you have a 70/80s car, a late 80s f1 car, a 2010ish indy car and f1 car. non of which had a halo as it was implemented in 2017. also the cognoscenti is definitely not based off a S class and more likely based of a bentley continental.
Although I never owned the khameleon, it’s mentioned in the description on legendary motorsport that it is a hybrid. That probably explains the engine and exhaust.
The Bobcat pickup truck, especially with lowered suspension is a perfect solo MC bike sell companion. I still have mine stuffed away somewhere that made me literally millions back in the day. It’s the easiest truck to get bikes into, and the bed is large enough to fit two. Gotta drive careful around turns and over bumps, but it’s definitely faster than running those slow baggers one at a time.
I believe the drift tampa can now be upgraded to a drift variant from Hao at the car meet. Also I think the comet safari is broken as I bought 1 the other day but the camera the third person camera seems low so you cannot see properly when driving it.
Funfact to the Khamelion. The real world counterpart Fisker Karma is a Plug in Hybrid.! The 2.0l 215hp inline 4 cylinder engine from General Motors in the front extends the range from 80km up to 400km. BMW followed that concept in the I3 and the I8. Development of Lithium ion technology made that concept obsolete. The Fisker Karma was often showed in the TV series "two and a half men" where Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) drove it.
29:31 why would there be pushback if its nitrous? and not a rocket propelling the car. The wheels are moving the car, via the combustion of the engine, where the nitrous is used. Reverse + Nitrous should make ur reverse faster..
The gauntlet hellfire hotring air brake does actually work on Xbox One, so what you said about it only working with next generation consoles is incorrect
18:26 Doesn't The Imponte Dukes and The Declasse Vamos have a deleted passenger seat? The one on the The Declasse Vamos has one because it's a reference to that movie death proof.
That is actually correct however it’s also on the 10f which is a german Supercar that is not used for drifting, R* probably just lucked out on some cars making sense due to their Japanese racing ties.
@@v_Falls_vRockstar lucked out?? With the immense games they've built and details they pour in, you think that's luck?! I mean it's a possibility but not a high probability 😅
8:50 you can actually have many more vehicles. You can attain vehicles from: dax, ms baker, tony, lester, ceo, services, mechanic, pegasus, taxi and agent 14.
The khamilian was based off the Fisker Kharma which was a hybrid. But the engine i think was for charging but i might be wrong (it still had a engine and electric motors tho)
6:08 only for the newer models tho! Old ones still got non animated version and shaped slightly different afair, I remember getting so excited back in the casino dlc when the 3 wheeler drag thingy got functional blowers
You should have more subscribers! So much work and effort goes into something like this! I don't know why, but videos like this make the waiting time for GTA VI more enjoyable and make the GTA V time more pleasant than it actually is! Big Thank you!!
Just a sidenote, I actually think some modded cars are better than legit ones, mainly for the colours and unique designs you get with them, like you said if Rockstar just allowed us to have these on our cars it would make it so much easier and I guarantee a lot more people would love the vehicles in the game rather than complain about them! I love your video by the way, subscribed 👍
for 9:43 Dundreary has always been a parody of lincoln in GTA, this is because the Dundreary virgo for example is based on a lincoln mark V and the old version of the Landstalker is a mix of the 2010 ford explorer and a 2010 lincoln navigator. So it makes sense of the Landstalker XL to be based on a 2019 Lincoln Navigator
11:05 Khamelion is a little bit like Fisker Karma. And Fisker Karma is electric powered car but it has gasoline engine that charges the batteries. 52:20 makes sense because of what "Volkswagen" means 36:02 you can paint the stock rims, you need to change it to some custom ones, paint them colour you want then again change them to stock, turn off the game and when you log in again they will be painted. 53:09 its mounted like in original Stratos
You're not wrong about the granger 3600 but the irl image you showed next to it was a newer model which only shared the steering wheel design and even it was updated. The model prior to that has the interior of the 3600. 😅
The V-STR has a backwards livery too and the wastelander has 6 seats so 4 people can press Y/triangle/F on the back to lean on the railing like sitting in the back of a truck
The Khamelion was for some reason the starter car I got from the mechanic and it is pretty good I’m not very good at the game but so far the only car I’ve really used for travel has been the Khamelion
1:08:38 love how when you're showcasing the animation for the Brigham's skull blower there's also a clear R* modelling incompetence display as well - the pulley driving the supercharger isn't there, and the belt is attached to thin air xD
The Vigero ZX Convertible has a glitch with the right side window, when you lower the roof, the right side window's rear pane sticks out of the door even through the roof is down.
Hi 👋 the Kamelion is based on the Fisker Karma which is a plug in hybrid that’s why in GTA it has an engine but still run on electricity ⚡️ Nice vid man thanks!
The Wastelander can actually carry people lmao its one of the special vehicles in the game that disables player ragdoll when you're on it (such as the ambulance for some reason)
The Lincoln brand is dundreary as its a seperate brand from ford. There are several Lincolns in game. Its also why we have 2 different branded virgos (1 on bennys and 1 on southern sanandreas) Ones a Ford and ones a Lincoln.
1:03:35 The livery is thankfully not fully mirrored as the smaller black logos/brands are the correct way round. The livery texture is additional evidence of this if you ever find a way to see the file
9:35 Dundreary is actually the in-game equivalent of Lincoln as the name is a reference to a character in the play that Abraham Lincoln (Lincoln's namesake) was watching when he was assassinated.
At 2:00, turn signals can actually be used, just not with a controller, there's no controller mapping for it... But there are 2 keyboard mappings for the Right and Left turn signal, i can't remember the keys though because it's been years since i last played the game; but i do remember accidentally discovering it, using it a few times, and later got bored with it😂😂😂.
The nine car batteries in the car trunk was not for the hydrolics. That is a battery bank used in car audio. They help keep full power going to the amplifiers that push the subs.
I dont do much nascar learning, but I do know NASCAR headlights and grills are stickers, infact most of the actual things you see on roadcar are stickers, and the flaps are also present in NASCAR Series. Edit: About the F1 Cars, the cars are made from when F1 cars didn't have halos (Pre-2018), and some of the F1 cars in the game are Indycars (Which dont have the F1 halos) The BR8 is one of the Red Bulls from 2013.
The Faction has a weird bug in is coding, that cockstar tried to fix once, but it broke other cars, so they abandoned it and left it stay broken forever.
42:35 The T20 does have performance impact so long as the active aero is engaged at speed. This is proven thanks to the PS3/360 versions not having the active aero feature on the car, thus having worse handling performance.
The Kharmelion LITERALLY has a badge on the back of the car that says Hybrid... Also the discription of the car says, and i quote "The Khamelion is an electric HYBRID luxury Sports [2 Door] Sedan."
Thanks for all the facts! it's been fun to learn odd things about cars! Now i want a Moonbeam, but it seems it was among the cars they removed from the shops.. The Bürgerfahrzeug is probably a nod to the Volkswagen (VW) which also simply means something along the lines of "peoples car", as in the people of the country, so citizen vehicle. I think it's probably just a fun play on words using synonyms to practically call it the same brand!
It’s not that rockstar has some system that “detects modded cars”, the only reason why certain mods come back is because when you buy cars from people off the car meet, any missing extras just come back, and it kinda sucks but that’s just it, cars with missing extras cannot be bought through the car meet because those extras will just come back, I did this with my Clique wagon when I merged it, I just had a friend buy it from me so the spare wheel can come back and I bought back my car off my friend
Unintentionally, you can color most alloy colored stock wheels by applying a color to a custom wheel, applying the stock wheel and returning to GTA V via the main menu. When this happens, the color is applied when you return to Online. This solves your colored stock wheel issue mentioned in 35:55
8:26 the interior of the Granger 3600 is actually based off the previous generation Chevrolet Suburban (2015-2020) than the one shown(2021+). Nearly identical
You can actually stun gun people through most car windows... I usually do this after EMPing them if giving chase on my greifbike I mean protroll bike... Any bike
18:40 not only the imperator, the vigero also has a customization option to remove the passenger seat. Not sure if that’s the only vehicle but it’s the first one that comes to mind, this upgrade is usually on muscle cars with the “stunt cage” option
