Super video. Loved all the scenery. So picturesque. All those locks. You must be strong Eileen. Poor Pat standing on Dogs…….. nothing worse. I’m sure you had soon all cleaned up and smelling of roses.😊. Take care. Look forward to your next one.
Thank you Shirley glad you enjoyed it. I often do a poo scan when we moor up but this was hidden in the long grass! Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
You do have the choice to buy a boat, then you will understand the reality it's not all joy. Bet you don't worry about your water supply or worry about your power supply,if you have enough
I enjoyed that - thanks! Memories of going down (and up!) the Aylesbury arm in about 1977 on a long boat full of fellow university students - the arm was overgrown and a bit wild back then also. Cheers.
Unfortunately the Aylesbury canal is not that well used and we need to make sure us boaters use it to keep it open. The tow paths however are much improved in places and a fair bit of work has taken place here. Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
The old Aylesbury YHAgroup did a sponsored walk along the towpath and I was wondering how it had all got so overgrown. Then I recalled that it was over half a century ago, in the late 1960s. We were collecting for Stoke Mandeville hospital.
🤣🤣, a lot can happen in a year, let alone 60!! Stoke Mandeville is now one of the largest specialist spinal units in the world!! (Apparently) Thanks for watching and commenting 😊
How to get ducks out of locks. Stretch arms out and cast a shadow pretending to be a giant bird of pray , helps if you are wearing something like a jacket.
