I don't know what the fuss is about. The Ford Transit has always been the world's fastest road vehicle! It doesn't matter what you are driving there will always be a Transit trying to pass you!

I worked with a supervan prototype. just to answer your question, the chirp is just a sound to let anyone around the van know that it is reversing. most, if not the majority of EVs have it, because otherwise it would be much easier to miss than a combustion engine that you can hear coming at you.
