I havent been working out for a very long time because of depression. This is the first workout i did in YEARS. i had so much fun i was smiling the whole time. At the and of the workout i got overwhelmed with all emotions and cried so much. I feel so relieved. This is just the start. I made an promise to myself to change my life for good and i will achieve my goal. Thank you so much for this you dont understand how much this video did for me. Thank you very much!

I am SEVERELY out of scape due to a car accident and a following depression. This was honestly such a wake up call for me. I barely lasted 5 minute before needing a break. I really want to be healthy again. Thank you so mich for your video! A message for others, never judge someone for their appearance. You have no idea what they might be going through.

I did this workout after nearly 6 months of not exercising. I searched ‘dance workout’ and this was the first one that came up. I subscribed immediately and did your 30-minute kickboxing video too. I'm going through a break up... for the past few weeks, every day I would wake up crying. Now I wake up and do this video and it is helping immensely with my depression and attitude. My arms were about to fall off during Temperature LOL I've been doing different grow with jo workouts for a few weeks now, and this is the first time in a couple years I've actually ENJOYED working out. This was my first dance one to do, and I loved it. Take me back to the 2000s music era!!!

3 months later, temperature still brings the burn, BUT it does not feel like my arms are going to fall off anymore!! I'm so grateful to Jo for making workouts that are enjoyable and effective. I'm so much stronger now than I was even since the time I posted my original post. I'm also proud of myself for committing to taking care of myself the best I can. Here's to hoping for another 2000s workout video!!!

This is the BEST workout video! I find talking very annoying, but you don’t talk through like the others. It’s soooo much better. Thank you. My daughters and I love how you show your next move on a side screen first and then use the mirror to show the other side of how the exercise looks so we do it correctly. The music is on point too and the colors are soothing! Thank you!

I recently got diagnosed w POTS & have been so afraid to get back into exercise just because I know my body can't do what it used. I've tried yoga but this honestly made me smile so much, not because it was easy (trust my body is so achy but in a good way) but just because of your energy & how much it reminds me of cheer. This is the first workout I started of yours about a month ago! I have tried so many and do two a day! With these workouts and intermittent fasting I have seen my clothes get looser, my mood and energy get better and my confidence skyrocket. No idea how many pounds down from the starting 260. But I feel and see the difference!

I made it only through the 8 minute mark (so almost through 2 songs). I'm actually a dancer, but the past year I got into really unhealthy eating habits so such workouts really show me how unfit I am these days. I hope after some practice I can complete the whole video🙏

I feel that same feeling of desperation! Honestly on the first freestyle part of the video I started swelling up with tears of happiness because it was the first time I felt like me again. We got this!

You’re a genius! This video was perfect. Great music: obviously. But you also: - Use the mirror well so it’s easy to see what you’re doing, - Show the next move so I can mentally prepare for the change, - Visual and audio countdown so I know a change is coming, - Do each move long enough for me to figure it out before moving on to the next, - Time the moves to music so freestyle dancing feels just as right. THANK YOU! I’ve never before found a workout video that doesn’t frustrate me.

jo i can’t express how grateful i am to you. i have been struggling with depression and CPTSD for over 10 years and during this time, i wasn’t taking care of myself. i was living a sedentary lifestyle and i was starting to feel it in my body. then i came across your video and your lovely positive energy and something awoke inside of me to get up and get moving. this is the first time i exercised since high school and i feel AMAZING! i’m currently in tears of joy and already exploring your channel to find a video for tomorrow. thank you for changing my life journey❤️

All I can say is thank you for creating this! I've become really unfit recently and get embarrassed with myself when working out (it's all in the mind), I cried happy tears when I finished this workout. It is so easy to follow and encouraging, you know what the upcoming step is. I will be doing more of your workouts. Big loves ❤

Idk what it is with your workouts but they seriously bring me so much joy! I work out regularly but I hate dance workouts that are so difficult that it makes you frustrated. Your workouts are perfectly balanced with movement and FUN!! The time flies and every time I dance to this video it feels like only 5 minutes has passed!! THANK YOU!!

I have recently decided to change my lifestyle at 17. I have always been a bigger girl and recently I’ve noticed that my weight is slowly increasing and my sugar cravings have gone out of control. I threw this video on because I always used to enjoy dancing and I have since I was younger and I LOVED IT. I will definitely do this again and again and again and your other videos as well as this one. Dancing and riding bike and walking are my favourite types of excercies rn and when I become more comfortable and advanced at working out I will go onto weights and other forms of exercising. Thank you!! ❤️❤️

I need so many more of these, I'm a bigger girl who wasn't trying to lose weight just be healthier and more comfortable in her own skin but since doing these I've noticed that I'm feeling more energetic and confident and have even started fitting into clothes that were destined for the charity box. Going to the gym and not being able to complete workout routines gives me so much anxiety but this has almost made it fun dare I say! If you're a beginner or just want something fun I will always recommend this. ❤

doing this after nearly a month of at home HIIT workouts where i saw minimal progress and was unenjoyable. this got me up and moving, SMILING (first time ever smiling while working out) and actually enjoying being active!! thank you!!

Thanks so much! I've never been a "workout" person and have always preferred to get my exercise hiking or just in everyday life. But with kids it's hard to get what I need that way. Was trying to find workouts in the morning that I can follow without the phony style of delivery tainting it. Your authenticity and the fact that you're truly just having fun is so helpful and awesome ❤ so much more encouraging than someone posturing and fake smiling !

i have been procrastinating working out because it just felt like a big chore to me! Just the thought of being tired after working out made me not want to work out so i was on a search of fun dance workouts that don’t feel like workout, and i came across you, thank you! I searched RU-vid for a dance workout and this is what came up, and it did NOT disappoint. I'm fairly uncoordinated but the timer showing the next move was SO helpful that I had no issues following along. Can't wait to try out more of your workouts! 😊

I rediscovered how good it felt to dance with some friends. I never realised how good it felt to dance, let alone how much better my body felt and how much weight I lost. Then decided to look up a dance workout and this was the second result, thank you for making it so fun to exercise x

Girl, thank you so much for your videos. I gained weight after I getting married and I’ve been really struggling to find something I like to help me loose the weight. I love the dance videos so much, I’m having fun and don’t agonizingly look at the timer to see if it’s over yet (which is a win for me.) and I feel great afterwards! 😊

OMG! Growwithjo has helped me so much!!! I felt like crying because I wasn’t burning a lot of calories . After I did this workout I burned 110 calories!!! In only 18 minutes !!! To burn 100 calories it always takes me 1 hour and 30 minutes !! ( 80 minutes!) Thank you Jo!(or whatever your name is . I don’t really know your name lol) I hope you succeed in life ! God bless you!

Mother of 3 low energy every day depressed. I found this video and tried it today and had all 3 of my kids doing it along with me, time for happiness and change. TALK ABOUT SWEATING JAMMING AND GETTING A GOOD WORK OUT AFTER AND FEEL GREAT, THANK YOU SO MUCH JO AND WILL CONTINUE 5 DAYS A WEEK❤❤❤

I'm going to be honest, I only did three out of the four songs, skipping the last one. But as a teenager with a different body type, that would never be achievable for me. I hate exercise as some people do; these moves were so simple and fun that I did them all, putting in a lot of effort and non stop. It was a fun exercise that I randomly picked to try and lose some pounds for my happiness (not to please no one else) and it was definitely worth it. I am totally subbing and you bet I'll have a playlist of these to do daily! Thank you for making it fun and enjoyable, I think you might be just the start I needed to push for my change :)
