this line is really funny, and because kid a and amnesiac are my favorite albums they influence me a lot in my writings as i mix a lot of genres and experiment a lot with synthesisers so we'll see how it goes in the next few years :P
The fact that fans calling Ok Computer a concept album terrifies Thom, terrifies me because I know albums that wear "concept album" on their sleeves yet are half as conceptually strong as Ok Computer
10:00 That's interesting what Thom said about Miles Davis, turning his back.. (I hope I caught everything he said) It reminds me of Adam Young of Owl City. He was So shy, esp. when he first started, that he'd occasionally turn his back to the audience briefly, while playing. He said, he'd never expected to be a singer, and was So shy, he didn't think he'd be able to perform in front of crowds. But, he found that, although he'd be terrified backstage, once he walked on and his music started playing, he could just get lost in it and kinda forget the audience was there. It's also interesting that my fave band's lead singers, (RH is #1) originally didn't want to or never planned on, being a singer. I think Thom is one of them. He just wanted to play electric guitar, originally. I'm sure we're all very grateful, he changed his mind!!
Looked up the time is cyclical thing, trying to wrap my head around it. Still think time is linear but also has cycles, I don't see why it can't be both
the ground is flat but the earth is round, you're right to think its both but it is technically only one, really its just all a big circle so you dont have to worry about falling off the edge
Thom Yorke rips off The Pixies, Jeff Buckley, REM, and U2 and then whines about bands like Coldplay and Muse. Does my dude think he invented soft rock?
