I didn’t know you could make this year model Durango look that good. Motivates me to wanna do some work to my ‘01 I have. You did an awesome job. It’s beautiful!
Thanks. I have always liked the 1st Gen Durangos, could not stand the 2nd Gen, has to be Dodges ugliest vehicle in that time, I see why they scrapoed it and went back to the drawing board... I knew it could look good just had to get to it after driving it for 3 years. 😁👍
awesome build.. just wondering if you gave up any handling w the shackles and key lift....would love to do this but really enjoy the stock handling. Thanks for any info!
No they would not fit. What you dont see in the pictures are very careful and clean trimming back of the wheel well and front bumper, to clear with out rubbing during turns.

Even with a mild lift you will have to do some trimming on the front bumper and inner fender liner on the back side. I cut them carefully and smooth lines to make them nit so noticeable.
@@murcieme new DIY'er....dumb question.... you wouldn't happen to know if your 2001 tire specs would be the same as my 2002? And if they are... what are they, and what should I look for in an after market rim?
@@robertcasianosr I really can't stand that Dodge didn't just use the Ram 1500 bolt pattern, instead Dode Durango and Dakota use a a 6 lug, but not the widely used 6 lug from Chevy or even Ford. No these use the small 6 lug patter of 6x4.5 very hard to find in the aftermarket or used market of wheels. I just went on ebay and typed in the bolt pattern from lowest to highest price set of 4 not 1 or 2 be careful and watch out for the quantity.
@@murcieme I found some bad azz aftermarket tail lights for mine and it completely changed the profile from the back…however currently tryna sell mine lol
@@fiveflames2636 cool, funny they share the same taillights as the Caravan. Yeah l wanted something else, l can't remember weather l didn't like what was available or didn't want to spend the money they wanted.
