The first win for Kenny Brack in CART and his first IndyCar win since the 1999 Indy 500. His first IndyCar win came at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 1998. Had he performed better on road courses and finished both 500-mile CART races in 2001, he would’ve won the championship.

With all gear problems happened to some of heavy favorites in IndyCart driver's this 01 Firestone Firehawk 200 only had two caution's congrats on Kenny Brack on win @ Motegi Speedway kool track aswell.

2001 had fantastic moments but it is the unofficial death of CART

RIP Motegi superspeedway because it was destroyed by a huge earthquake back in 2011 now it was being used a car parked when Super Formula and GT raced there
