my dad drove a black 2001 back in the day. we leased it for 3 years. i LOVED that truck, still think its one of fords best SUV designs on the road. I have looked into buying one so many times but getting a well maintained one and then paying for gas would be a bitch, only for a truck i'd use from about december-april and then drive the celica again. I still have the "no boundaries" expedition chair in my garage.
We used to be a ford/ lexus family but they gave us problems lol. We had a wind star before the expedition that was terrible and my uncle had a 2000 mustang v6 that broke a lot. My dad drove the ES from 2002-2006 We wound up with the expedition because my mom loved the way it looked, to this day we love the truck but ultimately got rid of it because of its gas mileage and the fact we needed more room behind the third row at the time. My parents have 4 kids, counting me and at that time it was like screw it get a minivan. She drove the odyssey from 2003-2006 and traded the lexus for a CRV. And my dad then drove the odyssey it until 2009, got a Prius for commuting, and in winter 2012 it died and we replaced the odyssey with a pilot, sold the CRV to my sister, kept the Prius and now this spring probably gonna get an accord hybrid and sell the Prius to my other sister. That's the cycle thus far lol. We also had a 1998 Saturn SL1 for a while...
