Dude did you even test drive or set in the car and look around at the interior or check out the plastic that was in there before you bought it. You sound like you bought the car sight unseen then want to gripe about it.
Thank you because after driving my 2024 Maverick for a couple of months, it dawned on me that being a furst time truck owner, spare tires are located and mounted totally different and needed to understand how to get it before i needed to replace a flat.
Love the green but not a fan of those headlights. The current Maverick looks good but still has a slight "baby truck" look in it's design. Was hoping they could refine it a little bit with the refresh Instead they gave it "baby fangs" for headlights
My biggest obstacle with the Maverick has been that front end (ugh, what hideous headlights!), but this is a big improvement. It’s not perfect, but I’d actually consider driving one now.
As a huge Ford Maverick fan, and I’ve had two of them, I’m just really not excited about this refresh. I’m sure it will do well and it will probably grow on us but so far I don’t feel like they moved forward with anything.
I hate that they brought the front up into the area where the headlights are. Also, i thought they were extending the bed to be 5 ft long! Doesn't look like it. Also, can't wait to see what they have done to the infotainment system. I want to see what the new black appearance package looks like for 2025. I was looking to buy a 2024 and thought to hold off for the newer and better version, but don't know until i see more.
I got the hot pepper red thinking it was the normal Ford red. Disappointed it’s more orange. I would consider trading it in for that color. (But I love my Maverick other than that)
I hate the front end. All for the sake of "pedestrian safety" Not many people hit by cars but lets make em all ugly to satisfy the few injuries caused. Reminds me of when ford took the scoops of the mustang for "eu complianace for pedesetrians"
@@BlakesCars2 it just looks like a typical "knee wall" toward the grille area. And i saw an article on jalopnik not long ago about knees and hips being a factor in most pedestrian versus vehicle.
I guess that I agree that you should have invested in a $60k vehicle based on your critique (more power, soft-touch leather interior, V8 motor etc, etc). A test drive before the purchase would've helped too. Cliché "you get what you pay for". I would be more than happy with this vehicle for the price. Thank you for sharing your experience.
The only problem I have with this is that the turn signals are red. Should've kept them amber; it's already in a different housing than the brake lights, there's no point in it to make it red.
As a Chevrolet Salesman.... Buyers usually buy according to a few principles: Safety, Price, Performance, Appearance, Accessories, Comfort, Economy, Dependability. In the industry we call this "SPPAACED" this car is for Price, Economy, Appearance. You are not the ideal buyer as yours would most likely be Performance, Accessories, Comfort Also not to be a butt head but you did not even purchase the highest trim by about $2,500 on an economy car, as stated below what did you think it would be?
You are blessed beyond your wildest dreams but all you can do is complain about a car period let alone a nice and dependable one!! How many people can't or don't have the means 2 have a car!! Wake up man and start appreciating what you do have!! Just saying!!
lol most people go 85-90 and you expect it to give you listed gas mileage? Sorry but you lost me there bro…ridiculous statement. I’ve never driven 90 in my entire life…80 max but only when passing. Most states the speed limit is 65.
I have driven a LOT more than 1.5 miles on all electric. It all depends upon the driving conditions and how charged the battery is before it goes to all electric. Since he had it on Sport mode, it was most likely using both Gas and Electric to give it just that much more power. They supplement the power with electric especially when in Sport mode. So by the time he started actually driving on electric only with no gasoline left the hybrid battery was most like also mostly drained.
