Hicham is a freaking freak. He glides when he runs. His stride is super efficient.

Did you hear that split for the 400? 56 seconds and change, which for all the kindergarten kids out there who don't understand splits and pacing and all that jazz, not to worry because we had Larry Rawson to let everyone know that 56 was FOUR SECONDS UNDER 4 MINUTE PACE FOR 1 MILE. Sarcasm fully intended.

Nothing against Larry he is talking to a casual audience and not hardcore fans. Actually ran sub four himself and that is some going for most.

Joke’s on you because a mile isnt exactly 1600m so the clarification from the commentator was justified.

The Morrocans run like men. None of this BS of jogging for three laps and sprinting the final lap.

They run altitude and that is how they train. Wasn't that fast in terms of top speed. Although he could hold what he had longer.

@@sympaticoo1 yea him retiring early when they developed good drug testing isn't suspicious at all

Really the modern middle. Long distance sprinter. Just keep the pace one percent outside the comfort zone of the opposition. Then you have this. Would love to see him do a 100 metres against this pack. Would he have won? Doubt it.

Just silly. Even more silly if you have ever run track. Thought Cram beating 3.30 seem a miracle run back in the day. Another day at the office for this guy. Ran fast longer than any man who has ever lived. Very few athletes can even hold that for a few seconds. Having said that altitude training did wonders for him. Spent half his life there. Would love to know what it was giving him. Second a lap at least.

Hated the El G era. Even this race was rabbited by his teammate. Every single race.

ElG won a lot of important races without pacemakers such as the Olympics in Athens.
@random-zb7fp
@random-zb7fp 2 года назад
@@chijanai that was bekeles mistake in Athens. He went out too slow and Hicham got him at the final 100m. Kennenisa should have ran fast from the start. he ran 12:37 that year! still Hicham is the GOAt of middle distance along with daniel komen
@nc8186

To be fair you should hate him more for obvious drug use. But everyone benefits from a pacer just so happened to be his teammate
