Take a look at the 2001 Toyota Voxy 4WD model I imported recently. It was a great little van, very versatile inside and out, packed with features I wasn't expecting and aging so nicely it must have been well ahead of it's time.
Badgertronix thank you! When I was working in Japan in exports I learned the NZ government was the reason Japan started tracking odometer history. Your market relies heavily on used cars from Japan and they wanted to set odometer standards, as well as guidelines for corrosion
Hello in Paraguay! I would buy another Voxy or Noah in this condition. I liked the van very much. Right now I am driving a 2002 V6 4wd Toyota Estima and last week I had the RF4 Stepwgn. My preference would be for the Voxy.
askBowe it'll be the same as the Voxy. There is a blue water light that comes on when you start it and it's cold, red light if it gets too hot. Do a water pump and thermostat if you are worried and mileage is high with no service records. I liked this engine though
I probably would. Not sure if this is accurate with the more modern cars but the water pump lifespan is probably around 100,000km or 5 years; similar to a timing belt. Since that engine has a chain, it has likely never been addressed unless service records indicate otherwise.
Nice off beat review. I own one of these 11/2004 build date. 2wd 8 seater Z BRESH model with electric sliding doors. Absolutely stoked with it. I owned the previous incarnation, the 2000 NOAH which is more a commercial van morphed to an MPV. This version sits the driver a little lower, the whole car has moved from a light commercial base to a more 'car like' base. the 2L Corolla engine is zippy and the handling feels quite planted on the road. Internal seating is a little different to that above yet the features are in the same mood. Fold all the seats away and I can sleep 2 in the back. VOXY's have a very long model run too, proof the concept has its followers as nothing in Japan lasts long without a following. If you can get one then do it. Oh, and here is the 2018 version. Maybe not my taste but I guess I am old..... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Rp_V9XTXTuI.html
Thanks man, nice to meet another Voxy/Noah enthusiast! It has been a while since I sold this Voxy and I got the itch for another Toyota van. I just had a 2.4L AWD '03 Estima arrive with 7pax seating that I'm pretty stoked on and will review this summer. The 90's and '00's had some amazing Toyota MPVs on offer. I'd like to try an Alphard next when I sell my current Estima.
