still looks good for a car that is over 20 years of age,i really miss our old polo we had two of those a match with the same engine and a four doors,and the second one was a 1.0mpi and both had the same color mouse grey.

Basic car, yet nice. Moves fast in town, being very light and just the driver. Engine ok. No torque, but get fast when pushed at the stop or red light, also because it's natural aspirated and has small weels. Used to drive a 1.4mpi 65hp Renault and had similar experience. Perfect for villages/towns/cities. Overtaking could be an issue though.
Got the same car, same colour in right hand drive. Actually has a good amount of torque and can leave it in higher gears. Pretty slow but a good cruiser though and fairly economical

@@andersnielsen6044 The engine for the 2001 Polo is a simple MPI system with no variable valve timing + has a low compression ratio. It can consume 95 RON of various quality commonly found in rural or remote areas in the year 2001. Some claim it can also consume petrol with RON number lower than 95 as well.

And try to put a campingwagon at just 1000 kg after them, and then try to pull at like 70 km/h in 5th gear, and you will be surprised how much stronger the old Polo pulls compared to the new 1.4 in a Kia. It need rpm's above 4000 to actually pull. The old one in the Polo pulls already at like 1500 rpms. You can drive thru' a town in 5th gear in the Polo and it still pulls clear from like 45 km/h.. The newer engines will go thru' the same town in 3rd gear (wasting fuel and a hell of a lot of noise too) to match the power of the Polo. ;)
I went to car electric shop and asked for it. It was done in less then an hour. Kit was like 30€ and hands like 10-20€ if I remember correctly. Cheap install bc I live in Serbia but never had a problem with it in 2 years.
I would like to know how is the A/C’s quality in this car? Does it cool effectively in summer or not? Because i love it and want to buy one (will be my first) but i cannot find out if the A/C performs well or not. I sweat like a pig 😅😅
It cools well on the highest setting(4/4) but its loud. I use the 3/4 setting and it is tolerable. Also takes a minute or two to start cooling the air.

Zależy jak kto jeździ i czy bardziej zależy na silniku czy spalaniu. 80-100kmh dla silnika 1.4 to nie problem. Dopiero wyżej już zaczyna hałasować. Jak ktoś absolutnie musi jechać 120-140kmh to już lepiej by było z jednostkami 1.6. Ale 1.4 już absolutnie może korzystać z autostrady. Gorzej z 1.2, 1.0.
If you did not change the power steering oil in years then yes. It does seem like it lacks power steering. But when you change the oil it is amazing. It felt like a brand new car.
Normal car company: 1.4 engine, you get 75 HP if we are in bad mood, 90 if you are lucky. Turbo: 120 to 150 HP stock, nonproblemo. Volkswagen: Here you have 60 HP good luck accelerating to Autobahn speed with that lump lol.
