I'm surprised you havent put a stall or gears in it. That will wake it up for sure. I had an 02 SS but I got a 5th gen now. It was 3.73s, Straight piped, stock manifolds, SLP lid, ported and polished throttle body and a diablo email tune. Loved it but I crashed it. But a stall, I say from 2000-2800 will make it wild
I did put gears in it. They had 2.73s when we got the car, now has 3.42s but I don't plan on breaking into anything till I have to engine or trans wise. But I do have a plate nitrous kit with progressive controller(maximizer5) waiting to go in for the car. So that's next.
It probably picked up a few more horsepower. I wouldn't say a ton more power, 5-15 more peonies depending temperature outside. But for the cost of e85 vs premium or race gas. It's well worth it.
