The only reason that I did this was because I figured at 184K on the original sensor that it would be difficult to remove. Of course it didn't work out that way and ended up being a fast and easy job LOL.
About the gas mileage - quite a few people that I know (and look up to) on the forums have reported small mpg gains after this sensor was replaced, to the point where many peeps recommend doing this at 100K. I don't follow that interval but it has worked for many people so I figured I'd throw it out there.
Looks like the matco mst 9375 isn't on matcos site. I see a few on ebay and I would throw up a link but it would expire anyway. If/when I find a part number that supersedes the 9375 and can verify that it works on this engine I'll throw it up.
