Man that was a cheat code taking the holder bracket off instead of trying to separate them under the car! Never seen any of the "pros" in other videos think of that. That's gonna make it so much easier when I do mine! Good looking out!

The axles get stuck in those brackets fairly often. It's not unusual to HAVE to to take the support bracket out and remove (or replace) it afterward.

The fastest trick is to take off the three lower ball joint nuts and bolt. Then the alignment is not touched - at all. The brake line, ABS -- has to be freed, of course. Then use a ratchet strap to pull the strut assembly to the rear -- hook it on the removed tire. The Big Trick is to use an Air Hammer to VIBRATE the axle-bearing assembly out of the carrier. (Yes, the clip and 14mm bolt must come free.) It's AMAZING to see the axle just 'walk' itself out of the carrier -- in 60 seconds! Google cv axle Toyota Sienna 2015 for a YT showing how this is done. You'll change everything you're now doing.

Thanks for reaching out, I really appreciate that, but remember I work on the street not workshop, and I don’t have a air hammer , and is more easy when the car 🚘 is on the lift, I watch it, thanks again 🙏

Lift would make this job easier but you got to do what you gotta do. I use to have a Honda and always on my back working on it. And sore as he'll later in the day.

Excellent, subscribed. Other vids show put axle in with bracket on it first. Guys wrestling with it. EXCELLENT VID! But, you’re one of the only vid I seen shows bolting the bearing bracket/pedestal in FIRST. I’m a DIY guy so the other 3 vids show guys wrestling it in. Misleading! I was losing it. I spoke to the owner of CV Axle Express in SLC UT USA. He said put in carrier bearing first. AND, like you said- same for me- went in like butter. And I got an OEM rebuild lifetime warranty from the same guy $80. Great vid, I’m subscribed, thanks a ton. Thanks bro

I have a 2003 Camry and the bottom bolt is blocked by the C V joint housing. I can’t get at it to loosen it.

KG, is it better to just replace the axle than just the boots?

This exact models passenger side CV-Axel is almost Always rusted in position at the wheel hub and the carrier bearing, so if you manage to get it out of the wheel bearing you'll have to take it out with the whole carrier bearing bracket attached and just bang it off with a big hammer just like he does once you have it out, I've done 5 of these vehicles so far and every single one had the parts rusted together, just mentioning it for those mechanics out there that think they can do it without taking the bracket off LOL not on this model buddy 😂
