Very well done. The 1995 Towncar is similar. The part I am missing is the technique for pushing the seat far enough in to re-latch the clamps/hooks on the bottom. Brute force just doesn't seem the same pushing on cushion!

Thanks Boss, I was curious if the seat came out about the same as ever other full size car seat. I believe I read somewhere that the easiest way to access the rear speakers is through the back seat.

What's behind the sound proofing? I think most of us watching are trying to see if we can cut a pass through into the trunk for subwoofer box port. Is it just sheet metal? Structural braces?

Great Video but I do have a question, My Mother's 2003 Grand Marquis LS has the same back seat and her trunk wont open, I hear clicking sounds so I assume the lock actuator is working , but I need to acces her trunk and wanted to know if I can but using your back seat removal technique and crawl in and pull the emergency release , she does have a full spare but wanted to know if its possible by removing the back seat and that rubber insulation in back of it-Thank you for any information or help you can give me.

Do you have access to the trunk if you remove the soundproofing. I am interested in hauling certain items which I believe I could do through the trunk.
