Same! When my Dad owned it back in the day, it's first trip was taking me home from the hospital. Now I'm driving it all over. Life sure is funny lol. 😅

I am 14 years old and I just bought a 2nd gen. It’s transfer case exploded and took out the fuel line. So once I get that all fixed up I am going to work on the interior. And I am going to make it just like that.

oh my word man.. i’m 16 now and i just put in the new transfer case on it yesterday.. it had a lot more problems than i thought and i had to save money to get it all… and then i ran out of time… it total it was a grenaded t-case, couple holes in the 5th gear housing from the. transfer case… it also took out the front and rear drive shaft linkages… i needed a new fuel line and a new shifter lever.. it has 155 thousand miles… 2001 dodge ram 2500 cummins turbo diesel.. 24 valve..

@@DanielWCook145 holy geez that’s a 💩 load of work for a repair. Mine is broke down as we speak. She’s got a bad Hydro boost or Master cylinder unit, so she’s got almost no brake pressure when the truck is turned on. But when she’s off I have full brake power. I paid $5,300 for mine and that’s really the only issue she’s got. It’s a 01 with 382,000 miles on her with 0 blow by. I say it’s a good deal. She hasn’t gotten fixed up yet because I’ve been paying for medical bills for my right shoulder from a motorcycle accident so she hasn’t gotten the love and money she needs. Hopefully she’ll be going to the shop to get fixed within the next 3-4 weeks.

nothing like the sound of a real diesel pre-DEF bullshit and just to top it off it's a manual transmission that most of this generation probably don't know how to drive lol
