I’m 64tp now and been riding/racing motorcycles since I was 12yo, started with a Suzuki Trail Hopper, orange. Then went to 125’s racing MX for 9 years then four years racing KTM in hare scramble competition. Got back into street riding in 1999 and have logged over 200,000 miles since. My buddy and I ride the the western NC mountains and trout fish and camp, we pull a single wheel Uni-Go trailer with our camping equipment in them and have a ball. How did you find my modest channel?

rear brake micro switch is mis aligned.. Rode 5200 miles last late August early September and finally figured it out. When starting the machine. push UP on the brake pedal then the ABS light slows and the power assist makes that funny noise! Saw the explanation in the Clymer manual.
Alexandre Förster Unfortunately the brake module needs replacing BUT , be absolutely sure your battery is at 100%, this is very important first off. No one in the US is rebuilding them any longer due to the complexity of design of the module. They are very expensive and the price of one and labor is the wholesale value of the bike. Fortunately my issue was the rear brake circuit. I️ was able to install a BMW brake line be that bypassed the module and went straight to the rear brake master cylinder so I now have manual rear brakes, no power servo assisted or ABS. My front system works good but no ABS there either. I also put a piece of black electrical tape over the constantly blinking red lightning the dash. Here is the part number for the hose (34 32 7 661 752 BYPASS CABLE). NOW, I would go to your BMW dealer to confirm all this and everything I have stated only applies if the REAR circuit is out. You will only know once you start riding. First out everything is normal, only apply either the front or rear brake separately and when the light flashes radidly you will know which circuit it is. If it's the front then game over, if it's the rear then there is hope by bypassing the modulator. Feel free to contact me more with any questions.
Yes, it’s still kicking. I found a used Servo last year and it did good until a few weeks ago. The dreaded lights were flashing again and my heart just sank. Did some testing and found a bad rear brake switch, replaced it and all went good but, just took it out for its first run with the new switch and the cruise control does not reset after it’s bumped off on the highway......sigh. I have to switch off the ignition switch and switch it back on the the cruise works again.... once. I’ll start digging into this new problem tomorrow.
