I love these things!! I remember when my granny had one exactly like this, I miss it!! But I really want a 2003-2011 Lincoln Town Car because I think it looks so beautiful!
I have a 2003 with 75000. I'm 17 and I love this car. It's really nice to drive. Has a great base auto system the V8 can get up and go when it needs to it all around a solid car. It really doesn't have a lot of room in the back seat for such a big car.
My dad had one of these, and man I miss that car. What a great sounding vehicle. Unfortunately we don't have it anymore, but who knows, maybe I'll get one some day.
Very Nice. Vid. My grandmother has owned 3 Grand Marquis the one she has now is a 2009 and her previous one which she gave to my family was a 2000. The one you are showing here has almost the exact same millage as the one she gave us when we got it. The color was white. We owned the car for almost 5 years and it was one of the best ever. I wish Ford still made these cars I was sad to see that they stopped making them because they are so reliable and dependable. The one my family had from my Grandmother lasted us 200,000 miles and the one day it just gave out. I sure miss the car. And in 2002 my Grandmother gave us her 1996 Grand Marquis at 89,000 miles and it lasted almost 6 years and when this one died it was a little over 200,000 miles. Still beautiful. I hope to get another one of these cars one day.
They really are great cars. I like my '96 LS. Unfortunately, RWD full perimiter frame cars are becoming a thing of the past but I wish they weren't. If these type vehicles are maintained they can last for several hundred thousand miles.

i'm a fan of the panther platform, my 1996 town car is more loaded than this, i guess because its the big brother of the three, just had a exhaust leak repaired now it really runs quiet, i'm at 251,000 miles still runs and drives like new
I just bought a used grand marquis for $1000 with 170,000 miles, it has very little cosmetic damage and nothing wrong with the motor. Do u think it was a good buy or no?
Bought mine with 91k for 3100$. Two days later I hear a squeaking in the front end and a misfire started happening. Repairs cost more than the car. Was a old lady with a stack of service records she had kept when had work done on the vehicle. Problem w these cars are you cannot service the front end. Everything is sealed with grease in it. Now that I have the upgraded serviceable parts I should be good to go for a while. I hope..... What a surprise to buy a car, and have to pay more to repair it while having handicap tags.
Yes its been driving fine, I go a little transmission shutter. Upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, pitman arm, sway bar link, power steering gear box, intake manifold, thermostat.
