Who ever you are Thank you very much , I haven't seen any video explain so nice and complete , I am very satisfied and your video all are exelant , I have 2002 Nissan Maxima auto transmission , very well maintained myself bought new , windshield washer pump seems not working , fuses seems ok and lost timing when to stop , I hope I see video about this from you , Best car video that I seen is from you take care .
I have a 02 maxima as well. What do you suggest the main thing to change on my car to keep the maxima performance? No transmission or motor problems at all... Your maxima cranks up really good. Mines, kinda crank up kinda high but not to high of that makes any sense.... I just want mines right. I love mines... Would need your help for advice. Thanks!
Hello, I was foolish and used a small ratchet, ended up breaking both bolts, I am unable to get the valve off even though both heads are broken.. Did you have any issues getting it un-seated?
Those are inspection monitors. Essentially they are stored in RAM memory in the ECU so when you clear codes or disconnect the battery, the monitors also reset. You can look online and get the protocols for your vehicle to do drive cycling to get the monitors to set again. Each YMM of vehicle has a different protocol including certain criteria that has to be met before a drive cycle is successful with setting the monitors. You could drive around forever and never get the monitors to set unless you know the protocol and criteria for them.
Did it fix it or the "service engine soon " came back . I have the same PO455 code . Did you say that with the vent valve replaced / fixed/ the car MPG actually is worse ? I noticed to day driving with the PO455 the MPG went to 32.
I have an 05 350Z with 22k miles. It suddenly stopped accelerating after 3k RPMS last year. I've replaced cam sensors, complete exhaust, TB, MAF cleaned & the pedal dance. No codes. Dealer can't identify, two shops are clueless. Any ideas & what is that software? Is it for the VQ35DE? The RPMS climb &a it revs & runs fine. It just won't pull. Like either the cam timing isn't working or the spark isn't strong enough. It's getting horrible mileage if you try to make it perform above 3k & will even make the exhaust glow near the header. Clearly unburnt fuel is. Wing dumped. Changed plugs. I'm an aircraft mechanic. Stumped.
if it's a manual, have you checked the clutch? Mine had a similar issue without any acceleration it ended up being the clutch. If you've already checked that. Otherwise it does sound like a timing issue. I don't know much about cars I specialize in computers, just my 2 cents on the issues. I hope you can figure it out soon.
I have a 2002 Maxima also , and the water temperature seem to run between 195F to 210F Is that normal? I have already replaced the coolant, radiator, fans, and thermostat.
im looking to get a 02-03 max with a 6sp for a1st car im 18 i have been driving for two years but i trying to learn how to drive stick and i was wondering if the max clutch is 4given& easy car to learn on
it's very easy to learn on and very easy to burn the clutch as well. The engine in this car is quite powerful so just remember to let go of the clutch steadily.
So both bolts most of broken because even after spraying down with PB blaster once a day for 3 days prior the bolts are just spinning now. Any one fix this without having to remove the whole cannister from the car?
