Thank you for the time and effort making this video. Maybe I'm missing you saying it but I don't hear you saying that you replaced the Camshaft Position sensor. Am I just missing that or you don't want to try that?
Greg Wayne. I shot a video 5 years ago on this same car with the same problem. You might want to watch it. Back then I swapped sensors and I think replaced one and that didn’t help. Watch video and you will understand. I found the timing chain stretched back then. So in this video I pretty much knew a sensor wouldn’t fix it. Sorry, I should have said that in this video.
I'm having the same trouble with the crank and no or hard start with my 2000, if it throws no code could it still be out of time or does that usually throw a code for the cam or crankshaft position sensor? I'm getting no codes.
Is this common? I jus got my hands on an 06 sentra 1.8 with 97 thousand km's and the oils always been changed on time so it's in really good condition all round but I plan on driving this thing for a long time so I jus wanna know if this is something I'm gonna have to deal with in its lifetime¿?
I’m not sure if this is a common problem. We bought the car used with a lot of miles on it and had no maintenance records. I’m guessing it wasn’t maintained very well. We had the car a few years and got rid of it.
