I keep forgetting how accomplished Tasha's gymnastics career was! She was a world and Olympic medalist, 2x national champion and had a very fulfilling NCAA career. Man, I remember in early 2000 when she seemingly came out of nowhere, too.
24:23 at the start you can tell she is one of the best beam workers the entire routine pretty much was solid she can do WONDERS on the beam and you can tell she loves beam and that dismount was wonderfully beautiful!! Great job girls!!🤗
hahahah tim talking about never seeing a block like Tricase's. hahaha--there's a little girl that probably just started kindergarden that is gonna blow your mind in about 10 years. lololol
It is so annoying when a specific gym gets called out for "injuring their gymnasts". It makes me think the commenter is not or never has been a high level gymnast. Injuries are part of it. Especially at this level.. come on. Bill and Don a Strauss absolutely LOVE their girls. I've watched Bill cry with pride numerous times. They are GOOD coaches who CARE about their gymnasts.
My question is why does the floor look smaller compared to now?? And I’m pretty sure jump turns were the biggest thing because it’s like everyone is doing them
I think it's an optical illusion because the TV screen ratio was more of a square still in 2002, whereas now we're used to that widescreen rectangle which allows more of the floor to be seen at all times.
