In 2001 when this quad came out (got mine the 3rd week after), a guy on ATV connection figured this out. We all spliced that green wire into a momentary switch by the handlebar which would ground it out when you pushed it. It was basically the reverse override button that this model didn't have yet. Mine is currently mounted to a horn button on an amazon switch I have for my LED's. Either way, when you ground that, your reverse light goes out on your gear indicator, but you no longer have that limiter on reverse speed. Regardless, splice that green wire into some kind of handlebar mounted push button, and the back side to a ground, and you basically give a vintage 660 a reverse override button. If I didn't do it in 01, I did it in early 02. Cool trick, but I don't mud, and honestly have never needed it even though its always been there. The other thing on the original Grizzly 660. It didn't have a parking brake - just the park feature on the transmission. But the brake lever is the same as all the Yamaha's of that time. The week after I got mine, I just went to the dealer and bought a parking brake tab for a Big Bear and put it on. I've basically never used the park feature on my 660 in like nearly 20yrs.
