Hi Ron, I'm writing from the UK. Nice to see the care and attention that you gave to the wiring of the LED's on the Orient Blue K1200GT. I'm considering buying a Grey/Green one myself. I had a 2001 red K1200RS a few years ago and I loved it but I wished it had better weather protection. I know the GT has more protection but does it protect as well as a proper BMW tourer. Also, do you know if there are any other differences between the RS and the GT ? I can see that the bars are higher but is is still a leant-forward stance ? I would prefer more upright now that I've turned 50 ! Btw, is that an aftermarket seat ? Thanks for your help, Ian.

Great vid Ron and visual upgrades , can you pipe these bikes out as I'm thinking of getting one? I'm a short little bugger about 5,7" would this bike be to tall for me ? Also in the 2004's is there anything to watch out for mechanically? Cheers
I'm 5'5", 28-29 inseam and I can get balls of both feet on the ground. Being able to fit was #1 on my priority list this time. The K sits lower and narrower than the R.
bike looks great... but I have a hard time believing you ONLY rode it to just check for safety.... LOL. ;) hahaha!.. where do you get the LED light strips?
Ron, do some research on these bikes before your next video on them. Not being a hater but those wings on the fairings come painted stock color with the GT's. the RS models come as add ons in black. And the GT is not 400 pounds lighter than the LT. Criticism is a favor to the receiver, at least thats what my greatest teacher told me.
