My 17 yr son got a 2005 used, was white with gold flakes, he had it 6 weeks & a drunk driver totaled it. He was devastated & wanted to repair. But it was too far gone. He loved that it held five friends in it. Anthony, the front seats were catcher mitt style to cradle occupants and saved my son from any injury. Buick foolishly discontinued them with LeSabre & Park Ave end. This is a keeper!
I had an elderly neighbor when growing up who had a silver LeSabre, and it was one of the most comfortable cars I've ever ridden in. Seeing one in such a high impact color is pretty nice- this would make one hell of a daily car for someone of any age who appreciates a smooth ride and decent V6 punch.
This model of Buick goes forever. Over 200k on mine and both kids took it to college and internships. Sat outside in Minnesota winters not plugged in always started. Still a daily driver for my nephew. Got every nickel out of that car and then some. Always drove Buick's, now the Avenir Enclave only because they stopped making the Park Avenues, which was our favorite model.
No engine or transmissions issues at all. Normal maintenance, and of course, normal wear replacements. Water pump, a/c, shocks. Only issues were electric window motors and heated seat broke.
My grandma had this car throughout my childhood. The same trim with the beautiful red and the 2 tone leather. I remember the smell of that car, she kept it in great shape. By the time she got rid of it in 2014 it only had 70k miles. Blast to the past, reminds me of summertime with my grandparents. ❤️
I have a 2005 Limited Wonderful car I mainly use it for my Winter Car while my Classics Hibernate. This Car has NEVER let me down and Ive driven through many a Snow Storm Never ever got stuck or had any issues GREAT CARS Cheers from Calgary
I am just in awe of how beautiful your cars are. I love your style of cars. Comfortable and smooth. Unlike anything on the road out of the factory these days.
Another great car, Anthony. I love how you put whitewall tires on your cars. I have always been a fan of whitewalls, even on some of my "lower-class" cars, eg. my 1966 Plymouth Fury 1.
I’ve had brand new chrome rims corrode like that in the pockets just sitting unmounted in my garage so it’s not surprising to see that happen on a 15-year-old vehicle that has been daily driven! Congratulations on the success of your business - you fill a unique and fun niche of the car market - love seeing all these grand old vehicles on your RU-vid channel.....!!!!
Haha, love how you said "grandpa and grandmama's cah." Your accent is great, and I don't hear it often. I'm from Kentucky, so it's awesome to hear different accents. Really nice car btw, never heard of the celebration edition until now.
Very typical New England, where many people still sound like that. The accent is close to what the original settlers from Northern England brought with them.
Absolutely beautiful Buick!!! That color just pops!! Another clean example of quality cars you provide for sale. Shout out to Papa bear as well!! You guys are great!! Congratulations on your 3 year anniversary on your lease. Wishing you many more happy years of business!!
I have a 2005 LeSabre Custom with 20,000 miles, one owner, showroom new. It's not as well appointed as the Limited, but it's as new. Picked it up last August with 18,000 miles. It's actually my wife's car. She refuses to take it out in bad weather. If she has an appointment and it's raining or snowing, she'll reschedule.
Beautiful Buick Anthony. Congratulations on all your success. You are living my dream, wish I could have had my own business like you as I LOVE Cars. This Buick is Absolutely GORGEOUS. You get the BEST Cars....Amazing. !!!!
LOVE this car!!! Great job....Hope you have something like this whenever I am ready for my next car! Hopefully my current '14 Buick will last many, many years though!
@@hakeemsd70mFor some people; green just doesn't seem like a visually appealing color for cars unless it's in a tasteful shade of green. A woman in my apartment complex owns a Ford Fusion in a rather light shade of green; mint green is what I call it. In stark contrast the Kia Soul was often seen in a shade of green Kia called "Alien Green" but I called it "Pea Soup Green" and my mom called it "Baby Poop Green."
Anthony, honestly, you could tell me 'although the car looks red, it's actually white' and I'd believe you! You're the most honest and transparent seller around! I do enjoy your videos and can't wait for another 90/91 Brougham d'elegance gold trim to come up!
The Park Avenue was definitely not second to the LeSabre. It was positioned higher in the line-up and it was definitely a nicer car even though the LeSabre was a very nice vehicle in and of itself.
I have a 94 Park Ave just about to turn 40,000. It's a very nice car. Bought it with 29,000 2 years ago, or maybe 3. Not sure. It doesn't go out n bad weather.
I bought one exactly the same in 2010 and had it for 4 years, little old man had it , traded it in at the chevy dealer I work at on a new Malibu. New Michelin rubber, brand new brakes, 50,000 miles. This was my wife's first car (she didn't drive until she was 48), but she wanted a big, safe car. As I recall, I paid around 7000 in 2010. The car has been traded in, but that was a VERY nice car. She still misses it.
Sweet ride Anthony- someone will definitely swipe this 03 from you quickly -they have sort of a cult following as you know, and they do live up to their reputation as durable, efficient, reliable cruisers. Just bought one of these over Christmas break, 2020. Was some snowbirds 04 (not a "celebration") Limited with 50K miles, same condition, with all the same bells and whistles yours has -including the "star wars" heads up unit. Funky toy to play with -handy on road trips turns out:-). The car is pretty much the same vehicle as my 2000 Park Ave I had years ago -which I've been pleasantly surprised, really almost a redundant car that GM "bothered" to make since there is so much feature/sticker pricing overlap with those Park Aves. My understanding though was that GM significantly increased the size and sort of changed the styling of the Lesabre to pacify customers that were bitching about the Roadmaster no longer being available after 96'. Your pricing is about on par, think I actually paid a bit more - but the dealer had replaced literally everything maintenance on mine -tires, breaks, battery, fluids, filters, rubber floor matts, etc. A limited warranty also, they were selling it as a "budget" alternative to a new car. I snatched it before some else got there hands on it, as there are really none of these around with only 50K. Someone will grab yours just as quick I suspect... Keep up the great videos man!!
I did, till I owned one,I had a 06 with the 3.8.The car had dash rattles, rode rough, nice seats, wasn't a bad car,but there was better. The 3.8 was the best thing of that car. I now have a 97 LeSabre with 47,000 original miles, rides like a Buick should.White with blue cloth interior, such a nice car. Congratulations on your success, and many more years.
Bought a 2005 LeSabre Custom about one year ago. Currently has 71K miles on it. Needed new intake manifold gaskets. Word to the wise, flush out the cooling system WELL with strong industrial vinegar. Get rid of and never use again the orange Dex Cool anti-freeze!! It started to corrode the alum. intake manifold! Terrible stuff! Run regular green anti freeze. This LeSabre is the best riding car I ever owned, period. Even rides better than my '96 Roadmaster did.
Those Buicks were the best. Not much on looks but quality and looks they were the top. Had a 99 Lesabre, 4rd owner 60k miles. . Excellent mpg especially on the road.. up to 33 mpg on the open freeway.
Ted, I agree with you.. and that’s the reason I have two Buick’s, and still have them both! Going 200k miles mean about 10 to 15 years of driving with just your average car care, not major repairs. I wish I could buy this Buick, but having three my wife would kill me.
Oh yes, much fun indeed! I was so close to buying a 2001 LeSabre in gold from a dealer several years back, I took it out for a test drive and everything only to say that $200/mo for a 17 year old (at the time) 171K mile car was too much dough. It would've been mine in 2 years. Still kicking myself. But it's not too late...
I'm from UK and have buick brochures I got in Canada in 2004 and 2007 for regal,le sabre,Lucerne and allure...really well produced brochures.... I would say the Lucerne was the last great "traditional"buick.
This buicks 3800 series 2 are bullet proof engines ,very reliable cars ,very comfortable, too bad they are gone ,but I do believe Buick park ave is very popular in China they still make them there.we gave our son our 98 park ave and is at 357,098 original miles same engine and trans,is falling apart from inside and windows rails are broken but not the engine and transmission .very good video on this vehicles ..love your channel..
I literally just brought the exact same one with 89k miles for 1k..great deal...only had to do the breaks, rotors, oil change,struts/shocks and tube up ..was gonna flip it but I'm keeping it for a while...too reliable and comfortable
I’ve Never been a Buick Fan Until I Drove A 2004 Buick Park Avenue Ultra And It Rode Like A Buick But Handled Like A Sportier Car! And The Engine Was Smooth & Powerful
Never was a big fan of this LeSabre body style, but this stunning crimson example has changed my opinion. Beautiful car. The interior is a cut above as well. Recently subscribed to your excellent channel to see the best examples of cars on offer anywhere. Great content. I'm sure you signed your second lease with far less trepidation than you experienced three years ago, and deservedly so. Wishing you continued success.
I have a 2004 beige Lesabre. 152k miles.... it’s my second car mostly for work commute. Love this car. I can do most of the maintenance and Change parts on my own with the help of RU-vid and my father in law. Just saw a light blue Lesabre at my recycle center. 210k miles!! Original engine. These cars last baby. Fuel economy sucks but it’s an older car what can you expect.
@@tednguyen2034 ya tons. I’ve changed break pads, rotors, spark plugs, spark plug wires, front driver window regulator (actually have to go to autozone and get another replacement and window motor is failing again). And of course regular maintenance with oils and filters and lights. Original engine and transmission seem to be working fine.
Anthony, this video made me want this car, so I found one, bought it, and it was the most expensive year of my life. I’m driving a new 23 Camry for less money per month compared to repairs on the LeSabre. My advice - old cars are nice to admire vicariously, but are not necessarily ideal as primary vehicles. Good luck!
I come home at night and ALWAYS looking forward to your videos after a long day at work, so keep up the good work, I was a bit concerned when you said you have an announcement though but glad you are staying on.
The one main problem with those Buick LeSabre Limited from 2001 through 2005 was the padded leather Dash panels popping up and warping in the sun over time where to the point the owners have to have the entire padded dash panels replaced and that is expensive ! If one is able to locate a new or used padded dash panel , they can cost between $ 800.00 to $ 1,200.00 !!! Not counting the cost of labor to have it installed ! I have a 2003 Buick LeSabre Limited Gold/Tan with the same color interior as the one shown in this video and My padded leather dash panel is also coming up and has warped in the middle and needs to be replaced. But I'm 70 years old and lived on a fixed income and can't afford to have it replaced.
I own a 2004 same color only 40000 miles same options, no moonroof, my interior has logos and all floor mats, same wheels, stored for 10 years now. I am thinking of putting it back in service. great car, love the HUD. I have a scratch on trunk lid (woops).
Thank you for the video. Congrats to your success as well. The Buick is in great shape. I always appreciate your talking about the cars. I look forward to you sharing the Lincoln Mark VIII. I hope you get more Oldsmobiles soon too.
Totally agree with you Anthony I love Buicks had many growing up and now they are dead to me with their stupid SUV lineup. Beautiful car! Not a big fan of the white walls on this particular one but still a beautiful car.
Wow, these are some great cars. I subscribed awhile ago, but I know now that I must hit the "like" button so that more of your videos will pop up on my screen! I look forward to your future videos.
The logo comes from the Buick family Crest which I like the logo especially when in color. I'd have to look but I may have this brochure when I've collected car brochures.
Yes, the build quality on the LaCrosse and Lucerne is decidedly inferior to the previous LeSabre and Park Avenue. But the 3800 III engine is an improvement though over the 3800 II.
Dont forget the chrome door handles. thats the reason i like the park avenues is because of little things like that! and i cant help but notice someones only changed out one ignition coil..........
