**Before you say it in the comments, I know this is not the best review in the world of this car. This car does not belong to me and it's by far the most complicated vehicle I've ever explored in-depth, so don't criticize me.**
I've been wanting to do another review on a car for a while, and I hit the jackpot this time! This is by far the nicest car I've ever had a chance to review! This is a full in-depth review of a gorgeous 2003 Land Rover Range Rover HSE. This vehicle is equipped with just about every option available for the 2003 model year. Despite the video being nearly 30 minutes long, I forgot to show a few things, so sorry about that.
With the luxury of a flagship Bentley sedan and with the off-road, 4x4 worthiness of a Jeep, it's no wonder why the royal family drives them. Definitely some of Great Britain's finest engineering and craftsmanship! With beautifully bright High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Bi-Xenon headlights and with a potent 4.4L BMW-built DOHC 32V V8, this beast gets you up and moving in no time at all and is sure to make your presence known. Very nice combination of colors; Ivory/Aspen interior with a Giverny Green Metallic exterior.

ASMRelectricity I don't remember commercials for them but I remember one year in later December around 2005 or 2006 (most likely 2005) at the Galleria At Sunset mall in Las Vegas when I was little I was Christmas shopping with my parents and on the floor I saw a red Range Rover with a beige interior with practically every option all shiny and new and I tried to convince my parents to buy it but the window sticker was like $80K+ dollars. XD. Since that night I've had a soft spot for these generation Range Rovers and in this video I was lucky enough to get to review one In-Depth and get to really know the amazing engineering put into it.

thats a georgeous motor. i actually like not having someone waffle on getting figures wrong and repeating themselves :-D i do however love how you went to the effort to cover the numberplate then showed us all the VIN number lol.

That is a clean 2003. Compared to my 2004, which I use as a work truck, it is embarrassing that mine started out that nice. But, I love these things.

Perfect Car, perfect Video! I like this colour too. It is not the daily black, white and grey colour. For 2003 is very, very fine your Car! The engine is the best for this weight of this RR. Interieur is Classic, perfect. Congratulate!!

Same here, but to own one of these you have to have A LOT of money to throw around for maintenance and repairs. Plus A LOT of gas money (11 city, 17 highway, pretty thirsty!). I don't recommend it for a first car, though, but the Range Rover will always have a special place in my heart, along with the BMW X5.

Noise is normal, VANOS units from 80k onwards start to get louder and make the car sound like a Diesel engine. Nothing to worry about just leave it. You will know if something's wrong as it would make a lot more noise then that.. Ie if chain guides failed. There nice cars

You should edit it with a voice over to make it an actual review instead of a walkthrough of functionality. That being said a nice clean example.

I have never had any issues with the motor. My 04 has been solid and it's over 140K. I know a bit about the troublesome older motors, but would be no help here. Maybe check the forums?

+Josh Reid This car actually doesn't belong to us, it was my parent's friends own it. They came back from vacation shortly after this review was uploaded so it's long gone. I do miss it though. I don't know the overall mpg, but the epa rates it around 12 city 17 highway.

No. I didn't see one anywhere in the vehicle. I don't think auxiliary ports existed in cars as old as 2003. I think that feature came several years later.....

I have one of these except mine's quiet... Vanos noise in this one sounds like the engine room in a u-boat. If I weren't a mechanic I'd throw a match in mine.

I'm pretty sure it either turns on/off the front and rear parking sensors. In the video I think I turned them off by pressing it with the light no longer flashing after pressing it.

does the stereo have bluetooth or aux cord set up

Matthew Trigg Since this is a factory stereo it might have blutooth (there's a "voice" looking button on the steering wheel) but even if it did it would probably be too obsolete to work on today's smartphones but as far as an aux input jack I don't remember seeing one anywhere in the vehicle. I don't think aux input was available or even invented for cars in 2003. I think that came out much later on in the future...

Six came out in ‘06 -m and Bluetooth audio came out in like 2010. This probably just has Bluetooth calls.

02 to 05 they have the bmw engine m62tu it is a nice strong engine but bmw has this 10k oil change deal and that is way too bad for any engine so look for the oil if its way too burned dont get that car problems following this is oil seperator clogged and this causes to put pressure on to the oil system and leaks from everywhere . and timing chain guides any rattleling no matter how small it will be a huge problem .transmission has. No oil change its supposed to be for life yes but for the life of the trans not chainging the oil on trans makes the valve body to crack inside and you wont have reverse as its pneumatic. Find one that has 80 k or under and change all fluids airbag system is grat but sometimes it fails and you need to switch to coils springs .the range rovers 06 to 09 have the jaguar engine and it pretty good . dont have any info on these

The most Cars what I daily see, are expensive and horrible in Design and taste! This RR is a Gentlemen Car. If I have to buy in follow years s Car I want to find this model in a good Handling. If somebody asks me, do you want a new Maserati, Jag, or any new German Car or a RR model 2003 maybe with V8 or Diesel 3.0 I decide to Range!!

What's wrong with the color? I actually love the color (called Giverny Green Metallic). IMO I think it's the best-looking color. Recently the owners of this car decided to trade it in for a new black Mercedes GLC/GLE (can't remember) 63 AMG. Supposedly this Range Rover was starting to give them lots of problems and would soon need thousands of dollars in repairs. Really a shame. By the time they traded it in it had just under 97,000 miles. I would have totally bought it from them but the repairs would probably bankrupt me. XD

Cool video but I wouldn't call it an in-depth review. Your video is not well edited and has lots of down/dead time. You don't show many aspects of the car such as 4x4 engagement low/high or the air suspension use low/high. While your video is interesting from an aesthetic point of view, you pointing at buttons shows us very little about their functions and capabilities.

Keep in mind that this car is extremely sophisticated and I had no prior knowledge as to how stuff like the air suspension or the 4WD worked, or how to activate it. Plus this car doesn't even belong to me so I didn't know what to show and I was a bit overwhelmed because I have never reviewed a car as complicated as this one...... I did the best I could.....

Jamal Turner Musician The vehicle belonged to my parents friends and they were out of town for a few months and needed someone to watch it and I reviewed it because I've always wanted to review a Range Rover and I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
