I was 10 years old when I saw this game in stadium in the corner section of the stadium. I was fortunate enough my dad brought me to every Home game that season, even the ULM and Western Illinois games! I remember the ULM game it thundered and rained so hard it would sting but we stayed because I wanted to be there. Aside from the 2019 season, I would say this season was especially as magical not because of impressive stats, but the pure grit and fortunate luck that befell them that season. Believe it or not back then the Biggest games of that season aside from Georgia was Ole Miss and Florida, back then Alabama was a nobody school you had a decent shot of beating every season (rule of sec granted in that statement). Alot has changed since then and I will never forget the electricity of tiger stadium when we turned it around and won the Georgia game (granted the Florida game was really tough to sit through). @@tonyjames4981 especially since we ain’t won a natty in 45 years since 1958 that’s what made it exciting for lsu fans to stay the whole game that year. After 2003 when lsu was blowing teams out at home the fans started leaving after halftime. But 2019 was amazing bc that is the best offense in CFB history and the best team in CFB history 🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯

I was 4 years old in 2003 so i dont remember anything about that year but my dad who is a class of 1995 LSU alum tells me about this nick saban team all the time and how it made lsu a football powerhouse. Watching these highlights makes me love elite defense the way it was played this team was great in terms of setting the standard at LSU 🐯🐯🐯🐯
Was a season ticket holder for 15 years or so. The '03 season was the ONLY season my wife came to the games with me. She learned at this game, after the whole crowd gets up and cheers make sure you the first one to sit back down.
Remember this guys: Bama only wins titles with saban that was first our coach outside of his time at Bama they ain’t been shit and won’t be shit after he leaves Tuscaloosa. While lsu wins conference titles and national titles with 2 other coaches other than saban and still manage to be one of the top 6 winningest programs in the country from 2000 to 2019. It’s been a rough start to the 2020’s decade but I think the hiring of Brian Kelly will bring us back to where we belong 🐯🐯🐯🐯🐯
