I drove an RX8 back in 04-05, if you've never driven a rotary engined car the revs don't come at the speed of light, they come faster, at the speed of rotary that is, they rev forever 9500 rpm I believe, and what car lacks in hp the engine speed nearly makes up for it in stock form. I thought the only thing the car lacked was more thrust, which you get from the turbo, its also very well balanced you can make U-turns at 40 mph without any drama, mind you I only drove it on a test drive from the dealer...
Awesome car! Love it. I'm working in my Rx-8 to swap 13b rew engine but I'm still searching for the alternator relocation bracket, all the brackets in the internet require an oldest front plate and cover. Please tell me about the bracket you use in the swap. Tanks!

+Angel gallardo yeh haha many of the boys ask me what i was thinking. it was a evo 3, metallic green, not as great as it sounds. had heapsa problems. plus i had plans to do an 8 up and got offered one and culdnt pass it up. loving that rotor vibe atm.
loads of room in that bay, fuck me is the exhaust housing big enough?! haha looks beutiful and sounds incredible. between this an my 5 cylinder turbo i couldnt choose what i like more tho

hello nice work but i have a question. how you manage to run the ewp so high? i run the same ewp and from Davies Craig they said to me to put it at the lower position i can. ones more nice and clean work

Hi I'm after doing the same conversion to my rx8 & it is RHD & people have told me that it's harder to do as the steering shaft runs right down where the manifold is did you run into this problem & if so how did you get round it & any other problems cheers

Stock impreza isn't that much faster than a stock RX-8 (around 6 vs around 7 secs). Evo is a different story though, they go under 5 seconds IIRC. Anyway, RX-8 is a fun toy and boosted like that has to be super fun (as long as everything else was updated accordingly).
but. quite honestly. since i dont wanna kinda. be like everyone else. do u think it is possible to do a 13b swap in a LS400. with an adapter plate for a 350z trans I_I
