That's because this was the last year of this generation. It started in 1996 so it actually looks quite current for a car conceived in the early to mid 90s.

I got a 2002 E320 4matic sedan with 160k miles, still feels like a solid tank and never had any mechanicals failures

That worked along with the roadside assistance (probably hot buttons) as these cars came ready for car phone installation. System quickly grew obsolete lol

In Europe we are the most mecs users but diesel because the fuel here is so expensive lucky american they can use petrol cars coz fuel there is cheaper than water

BTW I can't believe Chrysler adopted that key style from Mercedes. I mean, they separated from Daimler before they started using that style key... I don't prefer that key.

not really bong is well, .... but its a lower tone why would you want a hi pitch noise in your ear? i like the ding dong door chime in my 86 subaru the most i never get annoyed by it its so quiet and subtle , just a tiny bell
