I’m glad you mentioned that the light will not blink five times. But it seems I may have locked the ecu out cause after trying a couple times now the security light goes out with even a metal key. Do you know the procedure for unlocking ecu. Some people say 30 mins battery unplugged some say 1 hour one person said 24 hour wait which seems a bit much. But have you ever dealt with a locked out system that fails to connect.
@@jorgemat8080 if someone tries to start a nissan more than 5 times without the right transponder key it goes into "lock mode" code p1610. i have yet found one person who can tell me out to get it out of lock mode.
