Super helpful video. I was able to replace mine easily thanks to this. Thank you! (It’s all self explanatory, just gotta watch, look at your new part, and go for it.) Not that hard at all. I have next to no mechanic experience and I was able to do it alone.
Great video! No need to explain. Simple watch and learns are my favorite. The fun part is learning for yourself and figuring out that at some point he lost a 10mm in that door frame.
The video is okay. People's comments are nice. Some honest feedback from me. I know it's probably easy to figure out and take a look for yourself and just get it done from watching what you recorded. But A few suggestions I would make would be to have a little bit of a voice over. Speed up the clips even faster while removing the audio and doing voiceover and close ups of where you're removing screws and clips from. I know this is a relatively easy job. But trying to watch these to speed up my process and eliminate guess work. Sharing things like the size of ratchets you're using can be helpful. Unless it's just different for every car. Food for thought for editing😉 Thanks for sharing the video though. Still helps 🙂
I honestly feel like it should be a fast $50 job if you can do it fast enough. But I know a mechanic shop would charge you more than that. It would probably charge you for a full hour. So probably about 100 bucks. Some mechanic shops might even lie to you. Charge you a few hundred dollars and see that it took a while. I'd say it's really up to your level of honesty and how much you really need to keep your mechanic shop running. But I feel like a good mechanic could get this done in a matter of 10 minutes or so.
You gotta do better smh. I need to be able to follow along while I'm doing it. Like explain what you're doing cause people that dont know are lost and just took a door off for no reason
