2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee interior lights, windows and locks don’t work 

Thank you for this vid. I experienced the very same problems with my windows and locks not working and my interior lights staying on. Was driving me NUTS!!! This video was a life saver before going to some mechanic and getting my ripped off. Video was smack on point. THANK YOU!!!!

Well Sir, I pulled the rubber futher back and yes my black wire is broken. Thank you, God Bless

All jeep wj's had the same problem with the wiring between the doors. Any electrical gremlins can almost always be traced back to these wires.

Thank you I'm having same issue. My keys to open jeep door 2004 doesn't work, windows don't go down, open hatch doesnt. No problem with interior light and that rubber between my door is cracked as well. Lol I've seen other videos on this also and check on my black wire didn't show any sign it was coming apart. I will check in about 20mins again. Worst case going to have to replace control panel on door to my windows. Wish me luck. OH! CAN ONE BUY THOSE WIRES AT O RIELYS OR AUTO ZONE AS YOU SHOWN ON THIS VIDEO?

I can get my door locks and windows working if I open the door in the right position. Than my interior lights stay on while I am driving.

Ok so I repaired the black cable on the left side doors, it's working. but now the right side doors, and rear lift gate are not working windows and locks. Please help.
