Thanks for this video I followed your instructions with a few minor changes that made it a bit easier, I worked under the car on stands. I removed the wiring once the rear of the box was lower down it made it easier to reach them and remove. I dont have a gearbox stand so used 2 jacks, 1 at the front the other at the rear of the gearbox. I removed the gearbox by myself, I used ratchet straps from the rear of the gearbox to the rear suspension body mounts to draw the gearbox backwards after I shook the box to release from the bearing. Thanks again for posting this video, it sure made it easier to follow than the written instructions. 😊😊😊😊
@@APDTY so the pilot bushing went back in but without the smaller bushing? I saw two parts came off with the pilot. Do I need to re-insert the smaller one before the pilot ? Cuz, mine didnt have that smaller bushing. Now, im worried. 😅
Anyone know of a video to replace real engine seal while transmission is out? Also front and rear transmission seals? Thank for the video, I will fill my transmission through the gear shifter with a funnel, only thing I would do different.
Hey so what happened with the clutch pedal? Great video by the way. I am having the same problem where can’t get a pedal. I’ve been gravity bleeding and even pumped the pedal but it’s still spongy. How’d yours turn out? And what did you have to do?😊 thanks
@@georgevjr1 I had a similar situation however on mine there was 2 problems we came across. #1 the aftermarket slave cylinder rod was shorter than OEM and of course didn't figure that out fro a while. Problem #2 We installed a lightweight flywheel and the bolts that came with it were 15mm long however the OEM were 20mm long. After having problems where we couldn't get the transmission to go into gear, had to take everything apart and inspect only to find that the shorter bolts were too short and once torqued only the first two (2) threads were catching and a few of them had actually stripped. We ended up getting 20mm bolts re-threading the flywheel once installed and re-torqued to 19 foot pounds everything worked great. Again great video and thanks.
