Brilliant solution....I was stumped when the video ended abutuptly, but while I was thinking about it and wondering if I did something wrong, Part II started up on its own.

I got a 2005 W203 and the A/C has been acting up. Compressor is good (checked last year), electronic module is good (replaced last year) I get no blow and hot air coming from the sides and defrost vent. The "blown" speed of that air increases with the car speed. Could this be the blower motor, or it's a stuck flap motor. This issue is not constant. This morning I had no AC, but now it's working fine. This morning I did not hear the flaps open. Normally you can hear the motors working, opening and closing the airways.

Hi. This sounds like your climate control maybe malfunctioning. It can vary from temperature control to a failing blower regulator since the active climate is within the regulator/resistor module. Try becoming a member of the mbz forums and ask the members to see if they've had similar. It's free to be a member. Thanks

Peter Zafra Thanks for the quick reply man, appreciated. I'll do that. I just need to keep the AC working for another 2 weeks, till I get home. I study abroad and have to drive about 2000km to get home. I've done it and without AC, it's hell. When I'm home, I'll leave the car at the dealer, so they can scan it and fix whatever is up with it. Where I live, Mercedes doesn't charge an arm and a leg XD But, till I'm in Germany, I can swing by MB and have them check the refrigerant level, maybe drain and refill the system and add dye, so MB at home can check for leaks. I have heard a slight hiss several times... Went through forums and normally people say it's a leak. Most likely the O-rings.

I have mercedes benz, i got a problem , air doesn't come out from the vent as it supposed to be, then I changed the ac cabin filters but no change.. can you help me out with this

Hey Peter, My blower comes on and off intermittently. Since it does blow when it comes on, I'm guessing that the fuse and blower is good. Does it sound like I have a bad regulator? How do I test the regulator?

Did you get this resolved? Im having the same issue, took the blower out, wired it up while out of its enclosure, fan seems to need an extra push to kick on, if i tap the fan it kicks on. Not sure if that means the motor it self is on its way out

I have a 2005 E320 wagon How & what is the best way that you can determine if the blower motor regulator is bad or just the blower motor itself, because when I turn on the heater or AC nothing happens now etc ? Thanks

Marcus Campbell hi. I would put direct power to the motor and if it turns on, then the motor is good. start with that. then from there, test the power going to the regulator from the center console. check out my other videos regarding the blower. this video, the problem was the regulator. the other video it was the fuse box that melted. I hope it's just the regulator in your case. let me know. cheers.

Hello from France ! I got a S500 1999 I was riding my S class and my ventilations stopped abruptly. The Control Console works well and does not display an error. I check the 12V power going to the regulator and there is NO POWER at all, fuse N°33 is ok he got 12V ... Did you think the console is broken ?

zorgulus watch my video about melted fuse. Click the link in the description above. It could be a melted fuse in slot 33. This has been a problem with the w220 cars. How it helps.

I watched your video and my 33 fuse is in perfect condition. I also looked below the wires are in good condition, no burning smell.

zorgulus did you test both sides of the fuse for power? Make sure there's power to the fuse and after the fuse. If there's no power to the regulator from the fuse, then you possibly have a break from the fuse to the regulator. Make sure to rule out the fuse by checking both sides of the fuse for power.

Yes both sides of the fuse have 12V. When the ventilation stopped working I was riding with AC on LO fan on "MAX" you think of the wires burnt?

+zorgulus check the fuse lines on the side going to the regulator when there's load. Turn on the fan and see if the voltage drops. It can register 12 volts but drops under load. That's what happened with mine. It was registering 12 volts but when you add load, it drops to 4 volts because the wiring cannot handle the load.

I checked my central control center and it was good and my regulator as well ....but how am I suppose to check the blower motor? By just using the Volt Meter ? If so I did I put red on red and the black wire on the brown and no power shows does that mean that's my problem?

to check the blower, you will need to connect the blower to a direct battery or source of power with 12 volts. if the blower runs, then it's not the problem. how did you check the regulator?

+Peter Zafra I made a mistake measuring with the volt meter I had it on the wrong usage but I corrected it and checked it again and central control system good and I did what you said for the blower and it was working perfectly as for the regulator i was only getting 4.3 Volts ...I suppose the minimum is 12 in order for it to process to the Blower to get it running correct?
