No matter what I’m thankful to her for being brave enough to marry michael & take on the circus that surrounded him, even if for a short while, at least he experienced the bliss of love. While their marriage was too complicated to last, I know their love has lasted beyond death.

I can't believe it's over 2 months since Lisa died. You know, I didn’t know a whole lot about Lisa’s private life, nor have I ever been one to be overly fascinated by the idea of celebrity. I feel like being in the public eye and so well known since conception can be paradoxically quite lonely. People can be cruel, and many are fueled by greed. I think we would have hit it off and been fast friends. I loved her candor, her cynicism, and sense of humor. She just seemed very real and unapologetic, tough, but fragile so much sadness behind those eyes. I didn’t grow up in the spotlight, or with wealth, but we share many parallels, and personality traits. It just goes to show that no matter your beginnings or social status, at our core we are just people, trying to navigate the human experience. I wish she had gotten the opportunity to live out from under the microscope that is fame. I wish she’d gotten to write her story in her own words. See her children grow up, and be adored by her grandchildren. My heart hurts for her children, family, and genuine friends. ❤

Maybe it’s the songs Lisa sings, or maybe the sound system is terrible. I, as the “Buyer” want to HEAR the VOICE of the Singer. I can’t hear her. All I hear is a muffled drone. I can’t make out the words AT ALL! What kind of a Singer isn’t heard or can’t be heard on the recording? Her voice is low and throating and nothing is coming through, the mic, that is, nothing audible. All singers should be HEARD and the music should be in the background---NOT drowning her out! She appears to have had no power & no strength to her voice. Something is very wrong with her music. She’s drowned out. Ok, I’ve heard another recording, and she has a very unique voice. Very different. But she needed a better back-up or better sound system. She could have actually gone somewhere. Unfortunately many (most) of her recordings are very poor. I even saw her on a late-night talk show and she had the same problem. I couldn’t hear her sing or make out any words. For LACK of good set-up and good microphones, she was not taken as seriously as she should have. She may have had more faith in her ability to sing if it had been corrected.
Scientology language by Travolta... says its been hard to monitor her relationships. I grew up in Hollywood.. they had a center at Highland n Hollywood Blvd. At 15 ...in 1976. They convinced a girlfriend an I to come in to take their personality evaluation.. I failed it miserably. They told me all my faults n how they could help me. I was from a violent home where we went hungry. I had experienced the put downs and attempts at mind control and requirement to try harder and be more pleasing from my Dad. I just laughed at Scientology..cuz I was busy surviving. Sadly my great friend looked totally insulted as we came out and believed what they told her. I had to talk her off the bridge..it's a saying not literally. Without sharing she went back n got fully involved and never got out. I would see her and the laughing so hard till milk came out of our nose friendship was gone. She was an autamaton .. like a robot. Without normal emotional responses. She had kids...and I did too.. Whenever her kids wanted attention she would physically shrug them off. The kids called her by her first name not Mom. She had them in a Scientology school yet at 11 yrs old she would tell me..I cant read.. they teach us nothing. She fled from her mother and moved in with a man at 14yrs old. Her mother told me it was ok.. she was an adult n could make her own decisions. My friend.. married twice within the cult and both failed. She struggled financially.. terribly but had a thriving hair salon. Everytime I saw her for 20years she tried to pull my family in. She even brought the E Meter and expected we would agree to be hooked up. I never fully understood until I saw the Leah Remini - Mike Rinder documentary. It's made it all the more clear n heartbreaking. If Priscilla was in Scientology..Lisa Marie was forced in and without her Dad or anyone to protect her . Bad news. I got the feeling that LM may have gotten out of Scientology at some point...just by how she talked. The Leah Remini documentary is great. It's not on Netflix anymore though.
