2005 Dodge Durango Limited Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour 

We still have our 2004 Durango Hemi we bought in 2005 with 30,000 miles. It now has 157,000. It looks just like this one. Had to put a new engine it in at 57,000 miles. Not sure why, the oil was changed regularly and maintained well. Still a great SUV. It runs great, so we still got our monies worth even with new engine. It does cost alot in gas. About $300 to drive 10 hours. We drove it everywhere and on numerous trips per year. We just use it now to run local errands to hardware stores for home projects, sports, farm trips, need to transport numerous kids. It does seat 7! I liked the easy access to have cargo room and haul items. Just research years in regard to problem with their engines.

My aunt has one of these with all the options and the 5.7 Liter Hemi with a Flowmaster Tailpipe on it. I LOVE riding in it! It intimidates everybody!

My Durango is at 250k miles and still runs absolutely great

I got mines in 2005 fully upgraded still have it with 90k miles I take real good care of this baby its guna be a classic one day I just added 22 inch rims and 4 15" speakers

This vehicle is no longer around I'm sure but the video was really really good. This is a great video for other folks looking to see what exactly the Durango entails.

Dodge Durango's are great Vehicle's. The Body style and very roomy inside.

I got a 2005 dodge Dorango has 3.7 liter engine with over 225000 + miles on it paid 5,000 dollars in September of 2016 and still going strong Love it

One thing I will definitely say, I specifically wanted a V8 SUV, the MPG wasn't what I wanted, I wanted the power. I also like how the 1st gen. looks the best.

they are good suv's, they are made by the same company and same assembly line as jeep, in fact they have the same transmission and engine as jeep. i have a black 2004 4x4 tow package and am very very happy with it.

I remember I wanted one of these back in the bush. It was this or a 2002 Ford Expedition 5.4. Ended up getting a 2016 Ford F150... Lol.

@fanowner12 You should watch the video again because it actually has a rear DVD player. Not every Durango Limited had Navigation System or fake wood trim. Those were options as well as the Sunroof.

Fugly like the new Terrain. Interior's handsome looking on the other hand, very nice vehicle.

Would someone who is older than 18 (my age) like to explain to me why everyone is dissing these 05-09 durangos? I mean I dont have a ton of money (still in high school) and I want an SUV and this seems to be in a solid price range. Why do so many people hate the looks of it... Whats so bad? I mean I keep seeing everyone saying the 2000's are better, but in my eyes... no offense... those look god awful. Just lookin for someone to give me some feed back on why some people hate these. Why are people bitching that this truck has a whole lot of plastic. When foreign cars are covered in plastic, honda, toyota and especially hyndai and kia have very cheap looking dashboards and plastic around the wheel and door panels that look worse than this.... Haha especially when they have fake trying to look like carbon fiber interior. Id have this than a same year f150 or tundra or tahoe.

The Second Gen Durango was the Biggest JOKE in Chrysler History After its Stablemate the Chrysler Aspen and the Sebring. The 2011 Durango is erasing the Bad Rap that THIS Thing Left.

My grandmother bought the 2004 brand new and paid like $51,000 for the limited in tan, it was awesome it looks just like that one we drove from tampa fl, to south Carolina, texas and beyond it was just awesome! Never used the dvd player even for me it was two small, I also remember how bad the gas mileage was my dad told her she was out of her mind to pay that.
